Glamping at The Vintages

Rocio and I got the chance to go glamping at The Vintages in Dayton, OR. You guys, this vintage trailer resort is the CUTEST glamping spot. We had so much fun getting dressed up in vintage inspired outfits (of course), hanging out in our trailer, and riding cruiser bikes. The Vintages are about an hour from our home in Portland so it was the perfect weekend getaway! Rocio and I both love photography and videography so we took advantage of the cute surroundings. I’m so excited to share these photos with you!

THE TRAILER

We stayed in “the Duchess”, which was the perfect size for the two of us! Some of the trailers were left with original interiors while others like the Duchess, have been remodeled to look mid century modern. I love mid century modern so I was literally swooning over our little trailer the whole time! I loved the greige, orange, and white color palette. The interiors were simple, classic, and easy on the eyes. Our trailer had a dining area, kitchen, a separate bathroom with a shower, and plenty of storage. Everything you could possibly want! The bed was also super cozy with soft sheets, blankets, and a good mattress. Super important of course, because your girl loves her sleep 😉

WHAT I LOVED ABOUT OUR STAY

We loved the robes and slippers the resort provided! Rocio and I wore those in the morning while making Caravan Coffee. The kitchen was stocked with everything you would need to make coffee which was much appreciated! These days we drink a lot of coffee 😉 The trailer also had a TV and wifi which was super awesome because Rocio and I were able to get a lot of work done on our laptops while watching Netflix in the evenings.

We brought food to make which we cooked on the propane grill outside of our trailer. I didn’t think to bring pots or pans but luckily the ladies at the office were able to help me out with a pan. Silly me! There were also two cruiser bikes parked outside of our trailer when we got there so Rocio and I took advantage and rode those everywhere! At night, the lights in all of the trees that line the Vintage trailers are turned on. They looked so magical! It got a little chilly at night but we stayed warm the heater in our trailer.

Having way to much fun 😉

We had so much fun glamping at The Vintages! I loved getting to spend some quality time with my sister in the cutest place. Rocio and I want to come back in the summer when the pool is open! I hope you guys don’t mind me getting a little sappy here but I’m just so glad that I get to spend times like these with my sister! As the years go by, I’ve realized more and more how short life is. I want to spend every moment I can with the ones I love, appreciating this life! So much easier to do when you get to stay at places as cute as this one! 😉

I hope you guys enjoyed this post! Have any of you ever been glamping? I’d love to hear about it!

What a perfect glamping getaway with your sister; staying together at the resort not only allowed you to bond more, but also have fun…Sounds like one of those awesome sleepovers I have. And it’s even more exciting that you dressed for it. As the years go by, it is important to spend time making happy memories with loved ones.
