Meet my new puppy Indio! He is a black male Labradoodle that I adopted from Forevergreen Farms in Amboy, WA. My friends and family can all tell you that I have wanted a Labradoodle puppy for soooo long! So I am beyond the moon happy that I can now say that I am a proud dog mom of a Labradoodle.

There are so many amazing things about Labradoodle’s! They are known for being very intelligent, affectionate, and mild-tempered. Indio is an F2 Labradoodle which means that he is hypoallergenic and does not shed. This was a huge pro for me when considering what type of dog I wanted because I have a lot of friends and family members who are allergic to dogs.

From day one, Indio has been so sweet and lovable. He is so smart too! When we first brought him home, he had a few potty accidents but quickly learned that he needed to potty outside. I have been crate training him which went way more smoothly then I could have imagined as well! He sleeps through the night but wines to let me know when he needs to go potty. As soon as Indio gets all his shots, we are going to start dog training!

We had such an amazing experience with the adoption process at Forevergreen Farms! Laurie the breeder has been so helpful and informative throughout the process. We got to meet Indio when he was a month old and Laurie sent us update photos while we were waiting for him to be ready to take home. She also sent us home with a puppy care package with puppy food, a toy, a blanket that smelled like his mom and more!
