I live in the beautiful Pacific Northwest where a good jacket is a must during the colder months! I’ve always been very practical when it comes to the weather, but why should we give up style for practicality?! I picked up some super cute jackets with both qualities from Chicwish. They are perfect for both fall and winter! I wanted to share how I styled these jackets as well as a roundup of my must have jackets for the season.

This plaid coat screams fall to me with its beautiful orange, purple, and red color scheme! I literally felt so cozy while wearing this coat on a chilly fall day in Portland. I love the belt that cinches around the waist as well as the asymmetrical shape of the coat. It looks super chic and flattering while keeping me warm as heck! It comes in several different colors too.

I styled this jacket with these black ankle boots, these skinny jeans, and this purse.

This plaid coat gives me the 70’s/east coast vibes and I love it! The inside of the jacket has a faux fur lining that shows on the front of the coat as well. I love that detail! I also love the wood buttons and large pockets on it. I bought mine as a size medium so that I can wear sweaters under it. Layering is key during the winter months!
