Luxembourg is a very small country that borders France, Germany and Belgium. On our recent trip to Europe my sister and I decided to take a train from Cologne, Germany to Luxembourg City (about 4 hours and 30 min) where we stayed for a few days. It’s a beautiful city with a lot of French influence in it’s architecture and gardens. We absolutely loved it! London was another stop on our Europe trip last summer. I fell in love with this charming, old city! I love all the history and character. We were lucky to be graced with amazing weather while we were visiting which allowed us to run around all over the city. London is a great city for tourists because the major landmarks are all in a good walking distance from each other. Anything that’s not walkable from the city center is easy to get to by bus or subway. We used both transportation systems and figured them out quickly! An island located in the bay of Naples, Italy, Capri is famous for it’s high end shopping, upscale hotels, and limoncello! Beautiful grottos and natural rock formations can be found all around the island. Lemon trees line the charming streets and neighborhoods, leaving the most pleasant citrus aroma. In the summer, the coast line is surrounded by yachts and cruise ships. Capri is a popular destination and one that should definitely be on your travel list!
Venice is a unique and charming city, with so much history. It’s hard to believe, but it’s built on more than 100 islands with no roads, only bridges. Venetians travel by foot, boat, or gondola in style! The Grand Canal runs through the heart of the city and is lined with Renaissance and Gothic era palaces. Everything feels and looks so delicate and old, which adds to its charm.
