Bedroom Update With New Bedding From Parachute Home
I have had a white comforter and sheets for years and I’ve always loved the bright, clean look of it, but recently I’ve been thinking about changing it up! We brought Indio home a year and a half ago and shortly after he was potty trained, we started letting him up on the bed with us so naturally our white comforter always looks a bit dingy. We love having him on the bed with us though so I figured a comforter and sheets with color would help prevent this!
Before
Our comforter as always been super lumpy which always irritated me so in addition to switching out the bedding, I got rid of the old comforter as well!
After
I wanted to do a two toned, linen bedding look and after doing some research, I found that Parachute Home had an amazing selection for color. I went with the colors Terra and Bone in the linen material. Terra was used for the duvet cover, fitted sheet, and two of the pillows while Bone was used for the other two pillows (also from Parachute) and the top sheet.
I went with the all season, down insert and down pillows. I believe my old comforter was a down alternative which I think is why it was always so lumpy and I’ve had down in the past and really liked it! The new duvet is super thick and keeps us so warm during these cold winter days in Pittsburgh.
The pop of orange against our white walls is super fun and it looks so good with the bohemian decor in my room! I love that it still coordinates really well with my basket wall and Colombian rug. The two sets of pillows make the bed look a lot more dressed up too!
