I’m so excited to be sharing a reveal of baby boy’s nursery! i’ve always dreamed of having a beautiful nursery for my first baby and I’m so happy with how it turned out. I was able to partner with some amazing brands on the furniture, was given some wonderful gifts from my baby registry, and a lot of the decor was thrifted. I was going for a neutral, desert boho feel and I think I accomplished just that! As I am writing this we are a week away from his due date which is so crazy. I can’t wait to see my baby boy enjoying this space I decorated for him.

I have been itching to rearrange our living room for awhile now and I figured it would be the perfect time to do it right before I started decorating our apartment for fall. Previously, I had our couch/tv watching area separated from my “reading nook” by the window. Now all of our seating is arranged together in a more conversational way which I love because it’s so much more open now! The extra space is really nice although the couch is much further from our tv now lol but hey, it’s just a rental so we aren’t aiming for perfection here ;P
Cozy Linen Loungewear At Home With Parachute
By Esperanza on November 11, 2021Now that we are going into the colder months of the year, we are going to be spending much more time at home and that means I need to be comfy! I love cozy loungewear sets and pieces that still look chic enough to spend the day in, bonus points if they be can mix and matched. I’m drawn to earth tones and linens so I was so excited when I saw that Parachute was launching a linen loungewear line! I love their clean, modern aesthetic and that their products are safely made without any harmful chemicals or synthetics. Timeless, well made pieces are what I’m drawn and want to fill my closet/home with. I just had to get my hands on a few of my favorite pieces 😉
I’m FINALLY sharing a tour of our decorated Pittsburgh loft apartment! It has been such a long process and at times it felt like I would never be finished lol. When we moved across the country, I had to start over from scratch collecting new furniture, decor, and houseplants which let’s face it, get’s very expensive! I’ve always been a thrifter but I dedicated myself to thrifting the perfect decor to fill our home with, from that launched Urban Darling Shop, my online boho decor shop. Luckily as a full time content creator, I was able to partner with brands on a lot of major furniture pieces and the rest I thrifted or bought from Amazon, Target, etc. After a busy year and lots of delays, I finally felt like our space was “ready” to share.
Casual Style At Home With SeaVees + My New Favorite House Shoes
By Esperanza on August 29, 2021As a full time content creator working from home, I have to work a little harder to make sure I’m taking time to relax + wind down in my space otherwise I’ll just keep creating! I love what I do, but work breaks as well as time for myself, my fiance, and my pup are important. Something that really helps me relax while at home is a comfortable but cute outfit!
I recently shared a reveal of my boho kitchen and dining area (check out the blog post here)! I am so happy with my space and how it’s come together. If you guys are new here, when we moved across the country over a year ago, I had to start collecting decor and furniture from scratch. I’ve slowly thrifted most of the home decor in our apartment and I have loved the process! It’s so fun finding the perfect items to display in your space. I know that not everyone has thrift stores near them or maybe they can’t find the right kind of decor when they go which is part of why I started my boho shop Urban Darling Shop! You can find a lot of the kinds of decor I style in my space in my shop but I also wanted to share similar items I’ve found on Amazon! Think wood decor, earth tones, ceramics, plants, and wicker. These home decor items are perfect for creating that boho look!
I’m super excited to finally be sharing my kitchen + dining area! I had a few details I wanted to “perfect” and it took me a minute before the space felt “right”. If you guys are new here, my fiance Schyler and I moved across the country from Portland to Nashville with a few boxes. I had to start over from scratch in our Nashville apartment but it was much smaller with more designated areas so it was simple to decorate. Our Pittsburgh apartment is an old loft with so many funny corners and pitched ceilings! It was a little tricky to decorate and I took my time thrifting pieces carefully. I wanted to make sure every item was something I loved!
I am a huge fan of rugs and had been wanting to find the right ones for our Pittsburgh apartment for awhile! I had some rugs that my parents gave me from Colombia but they weren’t the right size for the spaces I had in mind so it was time for a makeover! I had seen some amazing looking rugs from Ruggable and what really drew me to them was the fact that their rugs are machine washable. My apartment sees a lot of life between the three of us so long term, a machine washable rug seemed like the perfect choice!
I can’t believe it’s been over a year that we picked up and moved across the country in my Jeep to Nashville then Pittsburgh! We have been living in Pittsburgh now for a little over 6 months and I am happy to say that we are almost 80% done decorating our new apartment. It was challenging to decorate after starting over from scratch in a much bigger space but it’s going to be amazing when everything is “finished”. I had been searching + envisioning the perfect armchairs for the reading/coffee nook in our living room for so many ones and then finally found the perfect ones on Burrow.
Our Bedroom Update – New Bedding from Parachute Home
By Esperanza on February 9, 2021I have had a white comforter and sheets for years and I’ve always loved the bright, clean look of it, but recently I’ve been thinking about changing it up! We brought Indio home a year and a half ago and shortly after he was potty trained, we started letting him up on the bed with us so naturally our white comforter always looks a bit dingy. We love having him on the bed with us though so I figured a comforter and sheets with color would help prevent this!
