Located right in the heart of downtown Portland, the hotel made it easy to explore the city while giving us a cozy place to recharge at the end of the day. The hotel’s wine-inspired theme adds so much personality throughout the property, from the artwork and décor to the creatively named guest rooms. One of our favorite touches was the evening wine tasting hour, which we happily took full advantage of during our stay.

Traveling with both a toddler and a dog can sometimes make hotel stays feel cramped, but our room at Kimpton Hotel Vintage was surprisingly spacious and comfortable for all of us. The staff made us feel genuinely welcome from the moment we arrived, and the valet service was consistently fast and efficient, which made coming and going stress-free. We also enjoyed some fantastic food during our stay. One morning we had breakfast at Il Solito, the hotel’s Italian restaurant, and another morning we treated ourselves to room service breakfast, which was perfect for a slower family morning. In the evenings, Bacchus Bar was a beautiful spot to unwind with cocktails and dinner after a busy day exploring Portland.

Between the unbeatable downtown location, pet-friendly accommodations, thoughtful amenities, and welcoming atmosphere, it’s a hotel we would absolutely stay at again.
