A Mini Guide To Laguna Beach In Orange County
My parents and I visited Laguna Beach for the day on our recent trip to California. We all agreed that we absolutely loved it! Not only is Laguna gorgeous but it boasts the most beautiful beaches, amazing boutiques, and great restaurants. My mom played photographer for me for the day and I was able to capture some great content that day. I love the beach maternity photos we were able to capture towards the end of my 5th month of pregnancy! I definitely need to plan a trip to Laguna Beach in the future with more time to explore! I wanted to share some of the beaches and spots we checked out that day.

Main Beach
Main Beach is in the central part of Laguna Beach, just off of Main Street which is filled with shopping and restaurants. It’s a very popular beach with lots of people playing volleyball, tanning, and taking a dip in the ocean. We walked down the boardwalk and onto the beach and as we kept going we found a beautiful little cove we had all to ourselves!
Victoria Beach
I absolutely loved this beautiful beach! It has more of a private feel and it’s a little harder to get to because it’s in a residential neighborhood, you have to access it from a set of stairs. Victoria Beach has this gorgeous “pirate’s tower” that looks like it came right out of a Disney fairytale. It definitely gave me Little Mermaid vibes! I heard about this beach online and I have always wanted to see it but we definitely got lucky when we visited because sometimes the tide is to high and you can’t walk to the tower.
Treasure Island
Another beautiful beach that we visited, Treasure Island, had the most beautiful cove to the right of the main beach area with stunning rock formations. There was a little beach past the cove with a more private feel but the tide was a little to high for us to cross over to it. It was a little bit of a trek to get down to the beach but there was plenty of parking and a sidewalk which made the beach easy to access!
Where To Eat
Wild Taco
If you are looking for a cute lunch spot, I loved the vibes at Wild Taco! It had California coastal vibes with Spanish vibes that I loved. The blue and white accent tile on the bar was such a fun pop of color! The floor was a similar design with orange shades that tied in with the other interior elements in the restaurant. It’s located right next to Main Beach and all the shopping on Forest Ave!
Address: 188 S Coast Hwy, Laguna Beach, CA 92651
Cabana Restaurant & Beach Club
We walked past this restaurant, Cabana Restaurant & Beach Club on the way back to our car to hop to our next beach destination and I had to stop to snap some shots because it was such a beautiful spot! I loved the plant filled patio area with plenty of seating for those that love outdoor dining. The inside of this new restaurant also looked beautiful although it wasn’t open yet when we stopped by. It’s definitely a chic spot for a dinner date or a night out with friends!

Where To Shop
The 8th Drifter
The 8th Drifter is definitely my kind of boutique! I absolutely loved the boho chic vibes and I would buy every single thing in the shop to wear or decorate my house with. Everything was curated to perfection! The store also has a location in Montauk, another beach destination. Located across the street from Main Beach and very close to the shopping on Forest Ave!
Address: 244 S Coast Hwy, Laguna Beach, CA 92651
Hobie Surf Shop
One of the boutiques we popped into on Forest Ave was Hobie Surf Shop. This boutique has all the California surfer vibes! I really liked the surf board and tiki area they had in the men’s section and they had a ton of cool photos framed on the walls too of Laguna Beach. They have a great selection of clothing for men and women and lot’s of great gift items as well like coffee table books and accessories.
