I have been itching to rearrange our living room for awhile now and I figured it would be the perfect time to do it right before I started decorating our apartment for fall. Previously, I had our couch (similar) slash tv watching area separated from the “reading nook” area with my armchairs (similar) by the window. Now all of our seating is arranged together in a more conversational way which I love because it’s so much more open now! The extra space is really nice although the couch is much further from our tv now lol but hey, it’s just a rental so we aren’t aiming for perfection here ;P

I wish I had changed up this space months ago because this new arrangement let’s so much more light in! Our couch being in the middle of the room was cutting off a lot of the sunlight from both of the windows in our living room and somehow soaking up all the light. Making a mental note that I want something much lighter for our next space!

I also took down our gallery wall, moved the prints to other spaces, and switched it up with a huge wicker basket wall to stretch across the long, short awkward wall in the living room due to the ceilings in our loft apartment. I dreamed this arrangement in my head and I really love how it turned out! It looks much more neutral yet still very boho chic.
