Schyler and I have been trying to catch the cherry blossoms in bloom here in Pittsburgh for weeks now! It seemed like we were waiting forever, we had such a long winter here in Pittsburgh, but we finally got to enjoy them this Easter on the Pittsburgh waterfront. The view of the Pittsburgh cityscape through the blossoms was breathtaking!
Category: My Style
It’s been one long(ggg) and very cold winter here in Pittsburgh this year! The weather has been all over the place… some days I need just a few layers and others I’m clinging to my wools. I’m still wearing leggings under my go-to Levi’s most days! The outfits I’m sharing in this post have been worn on repeat the past several weeks. A lot of these pieces have been thrifted or in my closet forever! Hopefully this post will give you some outfit inspiration. I’m linking the pieces to these looks and similar pieces below each outfit!
Casual Street Style + My Favorite Coffee In Pittsburgh
By Esperanza on April 1, 2022I thought I would share this look from a coffee date with my fiance Schyler last week! We grabbed my favorite drink, an iced oat milk vanilla latte, from my favorite Pittsburgh coffee shop, KLVN Coffee Lab. I loved this casual outfit for a day of exploring our neighborhood. It has a bit of a masculine look to it, especially with this mens vintage leather Averix jacket that my dad bought me at an antique store near Portland, OR. I paired it with my classic black Doc Martens, a vintage band tee, and my comfiest Levi jeans. My worn in baseball cap completes the look!
There’s something about a classic trench coat that just hits different! I think it’s Parisian chic, European feel of it. I always feel like I could be walking the streets of London or Paris in an outfit just like this. That’s why it was the perfect outfit to wear for a day of exploring the beautiful university district here in Pittsburgh with my fiance. The architecture there is just stunning and very European which definitely complemented my look 😉
Cozy Winter Outfit On A Snow Day In Pittsburgh
By Esperanza on January 18, 2022I couldn’t wait to get out in the fresh snow that just fell in Pittsburgh a few days ago! Last year, we had snow for Christmas, but this year it didn’t snow until mid January. I knew that as soon as it snowed I wanted to get out to shoot some photos because I didn’t get the chance to last year! It was freezing but Schyler and I layered up for a quick photo shoot! I wore my coziest jacket and fuzzy accessories to keep me warm, must haves in my Pennsylvania winter wardrobe.
I have been wearing Lotta From Stockholm clogs for years and recently added this new pair to my closet! The brown on brown color combo gives me retro vibes which I love. My old pair of clogs are closed toed with a strap but I love how easy this clog style is to slip on. They are super comfortable, even more so with a cozy pair of socks, the perfect piece to style them with in the colder months of the year. I wouldn’t take these out in the rain or snow, but if you don’t get a ton of that than they are a great all year round shoe!
We have been trying to squeeze in as many Christmas activities as possible during this busy, holiday season. That means I’ve been bundled up at home quite a bit in comfy loungewear of course. I’m obsessed with my new loungewear sweat set from Parachute! This warm brown color “Raisin” reminds me of hot cocoa. One of my favorite holiday traditions is decorating a gingerbread house and this years was a fun kit I picked up at Trader Joe’s, along with these fun gingerbread man cookie hangers.

Cozy Linen Loungewear At Home With Parachute
By Esperanza on November 11, 2021Now that we are going into the colder months of the year, we are going to be spending much more time at home and that means I need to be comfy! I love cozy loungewear sets and pieces that still look chic enough to spend the day in, bonus points if they be can mix and matched. I’m drawn to earth tones and linens so I was so excited when I saw that Parachute was launching a linen loungewear line! I love their clean, modern aesthetic and that their products are safely made without any harmful chemicals or synthetics. Timeless, well made pieces are what I’m drawn and want to fill my closet/home with. I just had to get my hands on a few of my favorite pieces 😉
The beautiful city of Pittsburgh never ceases to amaze me! My fiance Schyler and I are originally from Washington but we have moved all over the country in the past 8 years that we’ve been dating. Portland, Nashville, and now Pittsburgh! We have lived in Pittsburgh for a little over a year now and still have so many places to explore. We’ve checked out a few parts of Schenley Park and Phipps Conservatory of course but we didn’t know about this trail located next to the Schenley Park Visitor Center & Cafe. We decided to check it out to admire the beautiful fall leaves that have started turning all over the city!
