If you are looking for some easy, last minute Halloween costumes, I’ve rounded up some fun ideas for you! I loved styling these 5 halloween costume ideas over the month! I’m very frugal and I like to pick Halloween costumes that I can DIY without having to buy anything. That’s why all 5 of these characters had to have style that would be easy to re-create with closet staples/basics. Most of the pieces in my closet are actually thrifted so you can easily find similar pieces at your local thrift store, but I’ve also linked similar items below for each outfit that you can get on Amazon! I’m sharing one look for each character here but you can check out the full blog posts for more looks: Wednesday Addams, Monica Geller, Audrey Hepburn, Lorelai Gilmore, and Selena Quintanilla.

Celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month + My Colombian Roots
By Esperanza on October 16, 2021I’m a few days late but I wanted to share something for #nationalhispanicheritagemonth! My mom and her family are from Colombia, a beautiful country in South America that I have been fortunate enough to visit a handful of times. The beautiful necklace I’m wearing in this photo was my abuelita’s, one of the few pieces of her’s my mom gave me. My parents have also given me cowhide rugs, throw blankets, rugs, + other decorative pieces like this wind-chime that I love the style of! I’ve kept these pieces with me through all the moves over the years and they were a huge influence when I was decorating the space. They make me feel more connected to my Hispanic heritage! There are many beautiful areas of Colombia that I would love to explore and I definitely plan to travel there in the few years.

Wednesday Addams Inspired Halloween Costume Ideas
By Esperanza on October 9, 2021This fall I wanted to style some fun Halloween costume ideas to share with you guys! I’m very frugal so I like to pick Halloween costumes that I can DIY without having to buy anything. Wednesday Addams always pops to my mind when I think of Halloween costumes, probably because her gothic style is so iconic and easy to replicate with a few key pieces in your closet! I’ve styled 3 different looks inspired by her outfits in the movies. Most of the pieces in my closet are actually thrifted so you can easily find similar pieces at your local thrift store, but I’ve also linked similar items below each outfit.
While living in Nashville, I thrifted tons of amazing boho decor! When I moved to Pittsburgh, I started thrifting for quality pieces for my wardrobe. Most of my clothing has been thrifted from a local thrift store here in Pittsburgh called Thriftique and Goodwill! The quality of the pieces I have found for a fraction of the cost is amazing, vintage finds, name brands, designer brands, and more. Thrifting has been a game changer for me and I love everything in my closet now.
Casual Style At Home With SeaVees + My New Favorite House Shoes
By Esperanza on August 29, 2021As a full time content creator working from home, I have to work a little harder to make sure I’m taking time to relax + wind down in my space otherwise I’ll just keep creating! I love what I do, but work breaks as well as time for myself, my fiance, and my pup are important. Something that really helps me relax while at home is a comfortable but cute outfit!
Ever since moving to Pittsburgh, my favorite thrift store has been Thriftique in Lawrenceville! They have an amazing selection of clothes for men, women, and children as well as furniture. I almost always find exactly what I’m looking for on my visits there which is awesome! This thrift store is actually ran by the NCJW (National Council of Jewish Women) and they are a non profit so their proceeds benefit women and children in need in Pittsburgh. In this blog post I wanted to share some of the amazing pieces I’ve thrifted there this season in a Spring Look Book! When I thrift there, I’m always focused on finding quality basics that are timeless, easy to mix and match, and will last. I recently learned these pieces are called elevated basics 😉
