This fall I wanted to style some fun Halloween costume ideas to share with you guys! I’m very frugal so I like to pick Halloween costumes that I can DIY without having to buy anything. Audrey Hepburn and her classic, chic style are a perfect option for a costume idea that is easy to replicate because she wears a lot of basics that most people have in their closet! I’ve styled 3 different looks inspired by her personal style. Back already with another easy Halloween costume idea! Who wouldn’t recognize the popular character Monica Geller from Friends and her iconic 90’s style?! Monica was another character that immediately came to mind when I was thinking of costumes I could easily DIY with pieces in my own closet because a lot of her outfits incorporate staples + basics I already have! While living in Nashville, I thrifted tons of amazing boho decor! When I moved to Pittsburgh, I started thrifting for quality pieces for my wardrobe. Most of my clothing has been thrifted from a local thrift store here in Pittsburgh called Thriftique and Goodwill! The quality of the pieces I have found for a fraction of the cost is amazing, vintage finds, name brands, designer brands, and more. Thrifting has been a game changer for me and I love everything in my closet now.

As a full time content creator working from home, I have to work a little harder to make sure I’m taking time to relax + wind down in my space otherwise I’ll just keep creating! Ever since moving to Pittsburgh, my favorite thrift store has been Thriftique in Lawrenceville! They have an amazing selection of clothes for men, women, and children as well as furniture. I almost always find exactly what I’m looking for on my visits there which is awesome! This thrift store is actually ran by the NCJW (National Council of Jewish Women) and they are a non profit so their proceeds benefit women and children in need in Pittsburgh. In this blog post I wanted to share some of the amazing pieces I’ve thrifted there this season in a Spring Look Book! When I thrift there, I’m always focused on finding quality basics that are timeless, easy to mix and match, and will last. I recently learned these pieces are called elevated basics 😉

Over the Thanksgiving holiday I flew to Arizona to be with my family. My parents retired in Arizona a few years ago which I am very happy about because I LOVE the desert! I can’t get enough of the beautiful saguaros. Schyler would not be down with moving there because of the heat but it’s nice having a home base there that I can visit! During my time there, I really wanted to do a bohemian desert sunset photo shoot and I love how the photos turned out.

On my recent trip to Philadelphia, I wanted to pull out all of my best fashion pieces! I thrifted so many great Fall staples from Thriftique, a local non-profit thrift store here in Pittsburgh. Fall is one of my favorite seasons to dress for because of all the layers. When I stopped by Thriftique, I had a list of things I was looking for and I found every single one! A little while before Schyler and I moved to Nashville, my sister and I shot these retro photos! I had spotted these locations while driving around Portland and had them written down on my phone for future shoot locations. All of the photo locations were very retro and funny enough they were all car businesses! If you guy’s are new here, you should know, I love anything retro!
