This fall I wanted to style some fun Halloween costume ideas to share with you guys! I’m very frugal so I like to pick Halloween costumes that I can DIY without having to buy anything. Wednesday Addams always pops to my mind when I think of Halloween costumes, probably because her gothic style is so iconic and easy to replicate with a few key pieces in your closet! I’ve styled 3 different looks inspired by her outfits in the movies. Most of the pieces in my closet are actually thrifted so you can easily find similar pieces at your local thrift store, but I’ve also linked similar items below each outfit.

I can’t believe it’s our second fall here in Pittsburgh, but this one is extra special because it’s our first year as an engaged couple! My fiance Schyler and I wanted to celebrate with a fun fall day at the pumpkin patch and of course we had to take some photos to remember it by. We have gone to the pumpkin patch every year for the past 8 years we have been together and I can’t wait to continue the tradition with our family in the future! We got to take a hay ride to the pumpkin patch, the corn maze, and pet some cute farm animals. It reminded me of the animals I grew up with on the farm in eastern Washington!

I have been doing a ton of research for neutral but festive fall decor to decorate my apartment with this fall season so I thought I would round them up in some fall decor inspiration guides! One of the things that can be tough to find are unique faux pumpkins that have a bohemian feel to them. I love Fantasy pumpkins although the real ones can be expensive! I found some options that are similar as well as some other fun ones like felt and woven pumpkins. There is definitely a pumpkin here for every bohemian home!

This year, I’m very excited about decorating for fall! It’s been awhile since I shared photos or an update on my beloved labradoodle Indio. Indio turned 1 earlier this year in March and we are quickly making our to the big 2, I can’t believe it! He, along with mom and dad, has been struggle-inggg this summer with the humidity hear in Pittsburgh so he has preferred his curls kept short 😉 He has been going through a couple of health struggles that mom has been researching and trying to figure out how to address for months!

At the end of June, we celebrated my 28th birthday. For some reason this birthday has made me reflect a lot on where I’m at in life. Probably because it’s a little to close for comfort to 30! I’m not scared of getting older or anything like that, but I can’t help feeling like I haven’t accomplished as much as I wanted to by this age. I’m very driven and goal oriented so when I don’t feel like I’m achieving enough I start to get down on myself. A couple of the big goals I was hoping to have by now were getting married, buying a house, starting a family…

My standard labradoodle Indio is two years old this month! I can’t believe how fast time has flown by.
