Meet my new puppy Indio! He is a black male Labradoodle that I adopted from Forevergreen Farms in Amboy, WA. My friends and family can all tell you that I have wanted a Labradoodle puppy for soooo long! So I am beyond the moon happy that I can now say that I am a proud dog mom of a Labradoodle.

After a long week, I decided to take it easy this weekend and treat myself to a few of my favorite things! I stopped by my local grocer to grab a french baguette, a beautiful bouquet, and my favorite AVA Grace Vineyards wines. All the makings for the perfect weekend dinner!
I recently partnered with Tuft & Needle to take the #8hoursleepchallenge! I was given a linen duvet, linen sham sets, a new comforter, new pillows, and a new mattress all from Tuft & Needle, so that I could start the challenge in style. I don’t know about you guys, but when I love the way my bedroom looks, I am able to sleep so much better! What can I say, I’m a person that loves to be visually pleased (lol). A stylish and well organized room makes me happy!

This past year was full of learning lessons, first accomplishments, and good and bad experiences. Even with the good and the bad, 2018 was a great year and I know 2019 will be even better! I found this velvet green number at Target for under $20! I thought it would be perfect to wear for Christmas dinner with my family or maybe even for New Year’s! Schyler and I never really do anything super special for New Year’s. One year we went to a comedy club with my friend Elle and her family before we moved to Portland. A lot of the New Year’s events in the Portland area are super spendy! Maybe we will go to a party at a friend’s house this year.
I love all of the Christmas traditions like sledding, making gingerbread houses, and picking out the perfect tree. Another favorite Christmas tradition of mine is taking annual Christmas photos. This is my fourth Christmas with Schyler! Time flies by so fast, it’s crazy.
