We decided to wake up early 4th of July morning to go on a walk in a nearby Pittsburgh neighborhood before it got to hot! We are spending the rest of the day indoors eating some yummy deserts + snack foods, playing games, listening to records and staying cool. I got a little patriotic and made a 4th of July inspired cake with white frosting and red and blue stars! Also, how cute is Indio’s little denim bow? I love our coordinated red, white and blue looks 😉

Later on in the day we’ll got out for another walk and hopefully catch some fireworks nearby! It’s a pretty laid back holiday for us this year but I’m so happy to be taking a little extra time off this three day weekend. I needed some quality time relaxing with my boys! I’ve been editing non stop trying to finish up my Tucson travel content so that I can finally start editing my Cleveland content, be sure to check back for those soon!
