Date Night at Noodles & Company
Schyler and I try to make sure to have a date night every week where we go out to eat, grab some coffee, or go on a walk. It’s really important for us as a couple that works together (from home might I add) to get out every once in a while and spend some quality time together! This week we decided to go out to eat at Noodles & Company. I wanted to share the delicious plates we ordered for those of you who are looking for a new restaurant to check out!
Noodles & Company is known for serving classic noodle, zoodle, and pasta dishes inspired by cuisine from around the world. We decided to mix it up and try their limited time-only plates; the Zucchini Peanut Sauté and Zucchini Truffle Mac both of which were amazing! I’m a creature of habit so I usually order the same kinds of dishes that I know I will like, so I’m glad we decided to be spontaneous!
The first dish that we tried was the Spicy Zucchini Peanut Sauté. Schyler and I both loved this asian inspired dish! This dish is already spicy, but Schyler added the Smolder from Boulder Sriracha to kick up the spiciness even more. For my vegan friends- if you remove the chicken from the dish it’s vegan! Zoodles, zucchini noodles for those of you who aren’t familiar, were the base of this dish which I thought was very refreshing! The dish tasted super healthy.
I don’t know about you, but I love anything truffle flavored! The truffle zest in the dish is actually a black truffle zest that was to die for. I try to eat really healthy so I loved that the truffle cheese sauce has no artificial flavors, colors, preservatives or sweeteners. The Zucchini Truffle Mac does have bread crumbs, but you can remove them if you are Gluten Free! This dish was made with zoodles too.
I love that you can find healthy alternatives like this at Noodles & Company! I can’t wait to see what dishes they come out with next. Noodles & Company has several locations across the United States. You can locate the nearest location here.
