I’m so excited to finally be sharing this beautiful bridal photo shoot that Schyler and I worked so hard on! This is the exciting photo shoot that I had been hinting at over the past few months on socials and finally got the chance to edit. We were battling with the wind at our photo location the day of the shoot (which kept knocking over our baskets lol) but I am so happy with how these photos turned out. I know that Schyler and I will cherish these photos forever and I love that we will be able to show them to our kids one day with pride!

The Dress

Grace Loves Lace sent me one of their beautiful bridal gowns for this shoot. There were so many pretty gowns to choose from but I ended up picking the Verdelle dress because of the bohemian feel of it. I also love that it has a little bit of a Spanish vibe going on as well. The sleeves attach to the dress almost like a cape which I thought was super unique too! It fit the vibes of this boho chic shoot perfectly! I wore cream slides with a little heel on them from Target for the shoes.

The Groomswear

Schyler’s grooms-wear look was actually mainly thrifted! The trousers are from Octobre Editions, a brother company to Sezane. His beautiful rust colored blazer was the perfect pop of color that complimented the rest of the styled shoot. It was custom made and thrifted in Pittsburgh while we were living there! The white dress shirt and shoes were thrifted here in our hometown, Tri-Cities, WA.

The Florals

The florals for this shoot were styled by local florists My Garden Over Floweth, another dream vendor. They are an amazing mother/daughter team and Katie actually had my mom as her Spanish teacher! Such a small world. We collaborated together on the vision for the colors and types of flowers I wanted and needed for the different areas and the end result was beautiful! Everything they pulled together for the altar area, bouquet, flower crown, dessert table and even down to the petals on the rugs at the altar turned out perfectly.

The Altar

What I think is really special about our altar and dessert table area are the Colombian rugs I styled that my parents gave to me. They bought these rugs while on their honeymoon in Colombia where my mom is from and they are over 30 years old! I have used these rugs in every apartment Schyler and I have lived in and I love that I was able to incorporate them into our bridal shoot. The tall wicker baskets are a matching set from Yet Lovely that I saw in their store and knew would be perfect for this vision I had of the altar and they definitely made that statement I was looking for! The rest of the decor styled in this shoot are thrifted finds from my boho shop Urban Darling Shop. The pillows and furniture are also a few of the pieces that made it with us on our move back to this side of the country! I can’t believe how perfectly everything came together.

The Dessert Table

When Frost Me Sweet, a local bakery & bistro that I have loved since I was in high school, agreed to collaborated with us on the desserts for this shoot I was so thrilled! They made this beautiful wedding cake, cupcakes, and macaroons for our dessert table but I accidentally forgot the whole box of macaroons so we only had a small box of four (whoops lol) but the dessert table still looked beautiful, especially with this stunner cake! I loved the pretty soft neutrals, and the floral details on the cupcakes were exquisite.
