One of my favorite fall traditions is visiting the pumpkin patch, and this year’s trip felt extra special! We missed it last year because we were in Italy for our honeymoon, and with our ongoing kitchen remodel, we had to reschedule our visit a few times. But we finally made it, and I’m so glad we did. This was also our first pumpkin patch trip since moving to Savannah!

Sage had the best time running around the pumpkin patch, exploring, and picking out pumpkins. There’s something so special about slowing down and enjoying these little seasonal traditions as a family. Between renovating our first home in Savannah and getting ready to welcome another baby boy, life has been a little hectic lately, so it was nice to step away from the to-do list and enjoy an fall morning together. We had the yummiest pumpkin bread at Madrac Farms, the only thing missing was coffee or cocoa! I wished that they had actually had pumpkins in the patch instead of pre-picked piles. We may check out a different one next year!

Fall always seems to fly by, and I’m trying to soak up every little moment this year. This is my second fall season being pregnant! I can’t believe that next fall, we’ll have two little boys running around the pumpkin patch! Until then, we’ll be enjoying our pumpkins at home and hopefully making a little more progress on the house before baby comes.
