Our stay at Hotel Bardo, a five-star boutique hotel in the heart of Savannah, was exactly that. Traveling with a toddler can sometimes feel like you’re packing up your entire house, but Hotel Bardo’s Tiny Travelers Club package made everything feel effortless and genuinely welcoming for families. From the moment we arrived, thoughtful touches like an adorable in-room play fort, nightly treats, and family breakfast made our little one feel just as much a VIP as we did. Every detail was thoughtfully designed to make traveling with kids easier while still delivering the elevated luxury experience Hotel Bardo is known for.

Nestled in Savannah’s Historic District with Forsyth Park just steps from the front door, Hotel Bardo is perfectly situated for exploring the city’s charming streets, picturesque squares, and iconic architecture. The property itself is absolutely stunning, blending historic elegance with beautifully curated interiors that feel timeless, sophisticated, and effortlessly stylish. We especially loved starting our mornings in the gorgeous Art Deco-inspired Green Room, where guests can enjoy complimentary coffee and fresh pastries before heading out to explore the city. One of our favorite perks of the Tiny Travelers Club package was that it included tickets to the Savannah Children’s Museum, which our toddler absolutely loved, along with a $50 shopping credit to Shop Bardo, the hotel’s beautifully curated boutique featuring everything from stylish apparel to home décor, books, and unique gifts. The package also includes cocktails at the bar above Saint Bibiana, creating the perfect opportunity for parents to unwind after a day of sightseeing. Beyond the family-friendly amenities, Hotel Bardo also features an incredible spa and a beautifully equipped fitness center, making it easy to balance adventure with relaxation.

The culinary experiences alone are worth booking a stay. Saint Bibiana delivered one of the best meals we had during our entire trip to Savannah, with every course beautifully prepared and full of flavor. We also completely fell in love with the retro-inspired aesthetic of Bibi Bar and the Hotel Bardo pool. The design feels like stepping into a glamorous vintage resort, with every corner more beautiful than the last. We enjoyed an amazing lunch by the pool before spending the afternoon taking a dip together as a family, and it ended up being one of our favorite memories from the trip. It perfectly captured the relaxed luxury and thoughtful hospitality that make Hotel Bardo so special.
