This beautiful place is hands down my favorite spot in Pittsburgh! The architectural elements of the building remind me of the stunning architecture in Paris. I have a huge affinity for everything Parisian so I instantly fell in love the first time I visited. I’m also obsessed with plants and I love exploring botanical gardens! It’s called Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Garden and it’s located right next to the university area here in Pittsburgh. We finally made it over there to capture some photos for the blog before a date and I love how they turned out!

I love a white summer dress! Earlier this summer I was on the hunt for one and I found this little number by Vanessa Mooney at Thriftique, a local non profit in Pittsburgh’s Lawrenceville that I frequently visit. I love the eyelet texture of the dress, classic for summer, and the fluffy off the shoulder look gives off a flirty, girly vibe. I paired the dress with these thrifted Steve Madden denim heels and a gifted Etienne Aigner basket purse I’ve had for a few years. It doesn’t get enough attention so I had to bring it out for a summer date! I also love how the white banding on the purse coordinated perfectly with my white dress. Love a coordinating moment ;P

Get The Look

The messy bun and red lip tie the look together and give off a casual + chic French vibe. My gold necklaces are from Made By Mary. I’ve had these pieces for years and they’ve held up really well! Also, can we talk about how beautiful this location is?! The Botanical Garden is stunning and the architecture is unreal. It’s a picture perfect setting that makes for a very romantic looking backdrop!

Schyler and I actually shot these photos after having to return to this location to re-shoot a campaign. The lens had been dirty so the photos didn’t turn out. We decided to take these photos spontaneously before heading out for a date and I’m really glad we did because we made some magic y’all! Hey we have to give ourselves kuddos when it’s do right?! I love the romantic, girly feel of the outfit against the almost gothic Parisian style building. It can be hard creating “magic moments” when shooting content sometimes but I think we got that here. This will definitely be one of those favorite photo shoots I’ll always remember.
