Rooftop Photo Shoot with Corrie Mahr Photography
I got to do a really fun photo shoot with Corrie Mahr Photography this past summer. I am just now getting around to posting the photos but better late than never right?! Corrie and I went to college together and I’ve always admired her work so it was really exciting to be behind her lens. We met for coffee to brain storm shoot locations and ideas. We both thought a rooftop photo shoot would be really cool and I knew the perfect location! The top of the Pioneer Courthouse Square Smart Park in downtown Portland.
A friend told me about this amazing spot for city landscape shots. The buildings made for such a cool background and provided the urban feel we were looking for. It was a beautiful day and the setting sun made for some fun shadow play. I wore two different sweaters; a pink chenille off-the-shoulder sweater and a burgundy choker neck sweater. I paired them with black skinny jeans, black ankle boots, and a black hat.

If you live in the Pacific Northwest and you’re looking for a photographer for your engagement, wedding, or personal photo shoot then I highly recommend Corrie! You can check out her beautiful gallery here.

Lovely photos! I don’t think I could stand on the edge like that. I would have a heart attack!
It was pretty scary! I would not reccommend it lol
