Spring Look Book with Thrifted Outfits from Thriftique
Ever since moving to Pittsburgh, my favorite thrift store has been Thriftique in Lawrenceville! They have an amazing selection of clothes for men, women, and children as well as furniture. I almost always find exactly what I’m looking for on my visits there which is awesome! This thrift store is actually ran by the NCJW (National Council of Jewish Women) and they are a non profit so their proceeds benefit women and children in need in Pittsburgh. In this blog post I wanted to share some of the amazing pieces I’ve thrifted there this season in a Spring Look Book! When I thrift there, I’m always focused on finding quality basics that are timeless, easy to mix and match, and will last. I recently learned these pieces are called elevated basics 😉
Look One
I have been wearing this outfit on repeat lately! I love that this blazer is oversized so that I can wear it off the shoulder on a warm day. It’s actually a long line blazer so it has a bit of a trench coat feel to it. Perfect for the grungy look that I’m also partial too. I also love this mock neck tank top that instantly gives you that chic look. These destroyed boyfriend jeans are my new favorite pair of jeans. They were brand new with tags from Pretty Little Thing, such a good find! I’m obsessed with these strappy black sandals that give me major nineties vibes.
Look Two
I love the nineties feel of this cropped leather jacket that I paired with a ribbed white v neck tank. Spring to me, is all about the light jackets because the weather can change so much. It’s nice to have a light jacket to layer with! I also thrifted this little black handbag from Thriftique. It has an amazing texture to it and I love the gold accents!
Look Three
This gingham blazer is hands down one of my favorite Thriftique thrift finds! I think a good statement blazer is a must in everyone’s closet. I paired it with a simple black tee shirt that I knotted with an elastic for a fun, trendy look! You’ll notice I’m wearing the same sandals and shoes and that’s just because I was too lazy to change them lol but also because they are literally my go-to’s right now ;P
Look Four
This last outfit is super simple yet chic. This blouse is another favorite find because it is so soft! It feels like butter on my skin and I love the color of it. I feel like this light sage green color has been very trendy these past couple years! I’ve been loving nineties style lately and something about a button up blouse like this one gives me those vibes.
I love that all of these outfits look great with one pair of jeans and shoes! I’m all about the mix and match basics here 😉
Obsessed with everything!!
