Starting Our Next Chapter: Growing Our Family

It’s been such a full, beautiful, and honestly busy season for our family. Andrew and I got married last September, then one month later headed off on a three-week honeymoon through Italy, which still feels like a dream. We came home, celebrated Sage turning two in January, and then jumped straight into our move to Colorado in March. It’s been one milestone after another, and for a while it felt like we were just trying to keep up. But now that we’re finally settled, everything feels calmer and more intentional—and it gave us the space to ask ourselves what we wanted next for our family.
With Sage now 27 months old, it started to feel like the right time to grow our family. We’ve always hoped for an age gap where he could be a little more independent and self-sufficient before a new baby came, but still close enough to play with his younger sibling. This time around, I also wanted to understand my cycle better instead of relying on guesswork, so I’ve been using the Mira Hormone Monitor and Ultra4 Wand. It tracks key hormones at home and has helped me really see my patterns and understand my fertile window, which has made me feel so much more confident going into this process. If you’re on your own journey, you can check out Mira and use my code ESPERANZA to save 20%.
This chapter already feels so different in the best way. There’s something really special about choosing to grow your family when life feels steady and grounded, and I’m so grateful we’ve reached this point. For now, we’re soaking up these days with Sage while dreaming about who might be joining our family next.
XOXO
