We had the best time on our trip to Flagstaff and an amazing stay at High Country Motor Lodge! Formerly a roadside motel, the property has been renovated into a beautiful 4 star boutique hotel. It’s located minutes from downtown Flagstaff which made it really easy for us to sneak back for Sage’s naps in between exploring the city. It was the perfect hotel for our first family trip! With a unique nordic spa experience in a mountain setting, a cocktail bar & lounge, and it’s convenient location I couldn’t recommend this hotel more for your visit to this Arizona mountain town. If you love music and retro vibes as much as I do, then you would love this hotel in downtown Phoenix, Egyptian Motor Hotel! My friend Elle and I stayed there for 3 nights during our girl’s trip and had an amazing stay. It’s an old mid century building that has been re-invisioned into this fun, boutique hotel. There are so many things to love about this hotel from the Egyptian Live Bar to the fabulous restaurant on the property, Chilte. My oldest friend, Elle, came to visit me in Phoenix recently so that she could meet baby Sage! We have been friends for over 15 years but it had been a few years since we were together in person. I wanted us to have a really special time so I planned a girls staycation for us at the beautiful Mountain Shadows resort. It’s a chic, high end resort (4.5 stars) with modern mid century vibes. This hotel has everything from a historic golf course to a luxurious outdoor swimming pool. We had such a fabulous stay and enjoyed some much needed girl time! In this blog post, I’m sharing a review of our stay which I hope will be helpful for those planning a trip to Scottsdale.

On my recent trip to Europe, my sister and I got to stay at the Jaz in the City hotel in Amsterdam! It’s a hip boutique hotel just outside the city. Rocio and I loved everything about this hotel! Our suite on the top floor had an amazing view and it was absolutely gorgeous. I really loved the music inspired design of our room. Actually, the overall design of the hotel is music inspired!

I hadn’t been to New York since I was in elementary school, so on my recent trip to Europe, I decided to stop in New York to explore the city as an adult with my sister Rocio. I absolutely fell in love with New York! We had such an amazing time there. It definitely helped that we stayed at an amazing hotel in Times Square, LUMA hotel.

On my recent trip to San Francisco, my blogger friend Tonya (themoptop.com) and I stayed at the Tilden Hotel in downtown. I really loved the chic, mid-century style interiors at the hotel! I felt right at home in the lobby with all of the cozy seating and work areas. The hotel has two restaurants on the main floor, both located off of the lobby, The Douglas Room and the Tilden Cafe (pictured below).

During my recent trip to Charleston, my friend Carly and I wanted to stay in Mount Pleasant so that we could have easier access to the beach! We also wanted to experience a quieter feel and get to know the areas around Charleston a little more. While doing a search for hotels in the Mount Pleasant area, I found the cutest little Inn, The Inn at I’On. This was my first time staying at an Inn and I loved it! We enjoyed our stay there so much that I wanted to share it with all of you 😀

On our recent trip to San Francisco, we stayed at the the InterContinental Mark Hopkins Hotel. The glamorous InterContinental Mark Hopkins Hotel is located on beautiful Nob Hill, which makes for some amazing views of the city! You’ll know you’ve arrived when you spot the grand entrance on the corner of Mason and California. The entrance is designed for cars to drive in and be handed off to valet. Red carpet stairs lead you into the luxurious lobby boasting crystal chandeliers, marble tile floors, and velvet armchairs. I was immediately transported to a more elegant time when I stepped in!

Hey guys! I’m so excited to be sharing my travels with you this year. So far I’ve been on two trips this March and I have two more exciting trips coming up in April. I love traveling! It’s a huge passion of mine and I’m so glad I’ve been able to turn it into part of my job. I’m hoping I can give you a sense of wanderlust and share some cool cities, hotels, and restaurants, etc. with you.

On my recent trip to Chicago, I was able to work with the Ambassador Hotel Chicago. Rocio and I had the most amazing stay at the hotel! The interiors were beautiful, the view from our room was amazing, and the food and drinks were on point.
