I’m so glad to finally be sharing our Nashville apartment tour! For those of you guys that are new here, I moved across the country (a 46 hour drive!) from Portland, OR, to Nashville, TN with my boyfriend and labradoodle puppy Indio. We could only bring whatever fit in the back of my jeep! So it took me quite a while to collect enough decor and furniture to fill this apartment, especially on a small budget, but I did it lol. The complex we live in, The Anson, is a brand new apartment complex so the interiors are all updated and very modern which I love, but I really wanted my apartment to have a bohemian feel to it. So I hit up a ton of thrift stores and found super cute bohemian home decor + furniture pieces (which inspired me to start Urban Darling Shop!) and I love the result of my modern, bohemian apartment.

Slowly but surely my apartment is coming together the way that I want it to! The most recent update has been in my bedroom. I don’t know about you guys, but my bedroom is always the last room to get decorated! I guess it makes sense because guests that are visiting aren’t going to be hanging out in your room right?! Bedrooms should be a happy place to escape to, which means that they should be as carefully designed as every other room in the house! My bed was in need of a fun throw blanket and pillows which I found from Mae Woven. Now my bedroom feels so much cozier and put together!

Trying Vegan Food at Capitol Bar

Rocio and I decided to switch to a vegetarian diet about a month ago and Schyler has been on board as well! I was a vegetarian for over 3 years but due to some diet issues, I had to add meat back into my diet. We were inspired by our friend Jensyn to try cutting meat out again and it has actually been surprisingly easy! When I was a vegetarian, I loved trying vegan food and making vegan recipes out of a cookbook that Schyler got for me. I’m always amazed by how delicious vegan dishes can be! I love how creative vegans are with spices as well as meat and dairy substitutes.

I have always loved Interior Design! I actually worked as in Interior Design for 5 years before quitting to work as a full time blogger and influencer. Creating mood boards was always one of my favorite tasks as a designer. They are such a great way of visualizing your ideas for a space. I thought it would be fun to share my mood boards with you guys as well as some of my favorite finds from Amazon. Mid-century modern is my favorite design style and Amazon actually has a lot of selections for it!

This past weekend I met up with a few local bloggers for brunch at Tusk, a beautiful restaurant in Portland, Oregon. It was so fun to meet other bloggers and make connections. I loved learning about their backgrounds, passions, and goals. I love being able to connect with like minded boss babes like these gals.
