Andy Warhol Bridge

This bridge has so many names and I’m not sure why lol, it’s known as the Andy Warhol Bridge, Sixth Street Bridge, and the Roberto Clemente Bridge! The bridge connects the north side to downtown Pittsburgh and the pedestrians can easily walk on either side of the bridge. I love the bright yellow color and the bridge set against the skyscrapers makes for some really cool photos. Luckily when we visited during the week, we were able to avoid a lot of people walking around so we were able to capture some shots I loved! I’ve even seen people get photos in the middle of the bridge which would be so cool, but I think you would have to try that during a non-traffic time.

Roberto Clemente Memorial Park

I love the views of Pittsburgh’s skyscrapers from the Roberto Clemente Memorial Park! You can walk the riverfront on both sides but these photos were taken on the north side of Pittsburgh where all the stadiums are. You can walk all along the river, there are places to sit, and lots of great views. I love the pictures we took here with the Andy Warhol Bridge behind me! It kind of reminds me of the Brooklyn Promenade in NYC! It’s definitely an amazing spot for some photos!

TIP: We found street parking near the stadiums and walked to the water from there!

Phipps Conservatory & Botanical Gardens

This is hands down my favorite place in Pittsburgh and in my opinion, it may be the prettiest place! I love everything French related (so do the rest of the women in my family ;P) and this place is oozing with Parisian flair. The architecture is stunning and looks like something straight out of France. I also have a huge love for plants and this place contains a stunning collection! It was such a dreamy location for shooting this thrifted Parisian style outfit. See the full blog post here!

TIP: There is a parking lot with free parking for those visiting the Gardens! Tickets are about $20, you can book them here.

Duquesne Incline

If you love killer city views, then I would definitely recommend heading to the Duquesne Incline! There is a tram that you can enter at the bottom and at the top of Duquesne Hill, it was originally built to help transport commuters but it’s now one of the top things to do while visiting the city. There is a small observation deck at the top where you can admire the amazing city views! We happened to drive right past the observation deck not knowing at all that we would stumble upon it so we stopped to admire the views! I’ll definitely be bringing friends and family back to this spot.

TIP: When we visited during a weekday afternoon, it was almost impossible to take photos because of all the tourists trying to capture photos. It was very stressful but we finally got a couple shots and left lol! So when we visit again we are going to aim for a weekday morning and that’s when I would recommend visiting.

Randyland

Randyland, in Pittsburgh’s north side, is known as one of the most colorful public art installations in the United States! It was designed by local artist Randy Gilson who filled the property with vividly colored murals and objects. I had to wear a colorful outfit to capture photos here and I think we got some really fun shots! Randyland is free to visit, super unique and definitely a spot I would recommend visiting on a trip to Pittsburgh, especially for some cool Instagram shots!

TIP: We easily found street parking right in front of Randyland during a weekday morning!
