I was pleasantly surprised by how many amazing local shops there are in Phoenix! My parents retired in the Phoenix metro several years ago but we hadn’t gotten to explore in the city during any of my visits. So on this year’s trip, I wanted to get a taste of the local scene in Phoenix. In today’s post, I’m sharing 5 unique local shops in Phoenix! Local Nomad

I loved everything in this gift + clothing boutique, Local Nomad! Their handcrafted items are from makers and artists all over the world and very thoughtfully curated. Everything in the shop was so cute! It’s definitely a spot you need to check out for unique items for yourself or a loved one while visiting Phoenix. The gals at the shop were so nice too! The shop is located in the Uptown Plaza.

Pueblo

This adorable plant shop, Pueblo, sells so many different kinds of plants as well as other gift and home decor items! They even had an outdoor courtyard, mobile coffee cart, and greenhouses. It’s such a cute spot to check out while visiting Phoenix for a coffee and some shopping. I thought they had very reasonable prices on plants too so if you live in the area and love plants this shop is a must!

Phoenix General

This popular local shop, Phoenix General has a few locations in town! We visited the downtown location in the Roosevelt Row Arts District. There shops have a curated selection of home goods, clothing, and more from local and international designers and artists. Their hand picked items are ethical, sustainable, and high quality so you can’t go wrong! This location was in a shared building with a cool restaurant, coffee shop, and more.

For The People

This modern home goods and furniture store, For The People, is perfectly curated! You can browse the shop, or lounge in their seating areas with your Kream Coffee order, located right inside the store. We ordered a delicious iced vanilla latte and cold brew for fuel on our busy day of exploring in Phoenix! Be sure to check out Local Nomad just minutes away too, such a cute boutique.

The Merchantile Of Scottsdale

This boutique marketplace, The Merchantile Of Scottsdale, in Old Town Scottsdale has so many cute vendor stalls to browse + shop in! The vendors are local businesses, makers, and merchants, lots of handmade goods and unique items. It’s definitely a spot you need to pop into while visiting this popular area, especially if you love shopping!
