A Mini Travel Guide To Joshua Tree, CA

I have always wanted to check out the town of Joshua Tree after seeing some of the cool local boutiques the town had to offer on social media. When Andrew and I started talking about doing a California trip, I knew I wanted to squeeze Joshua Tree in! The itinerary for our week long trip was going to be super packed, so we only had a day to explore. Even so, we were able to stop by some really cute boutiques, and see some fun sights. I’m sharing all of these spots in this mini Joshua Tree travel guide!
Things To Do

Joshua Tree National Park
First and foremost, the main reason I wanted us to visit Joshua Tree was so that Andrew could see Joshua Tree National Park. I visited Joshua Tree with my parents and sister several years ago, and I thought it was such a beautiful place. I love the desert landscape. Andrew loves the nature and the outdoors, so I knew he would love it, and he did. Sage loved it too! We only had enough time to drive through and stop at a few spots, but I love the photos we captured there. For more photos check out this blog post.

Joshua Tree Coffee Co
As soon as we got to Joshua Tree, we headed straight to Joshua Tree Coffee Co for a much needed afternoon latte. Their organic coffee beans are roasted right in Joshua Tree, you can actually see the process in the back of their modern coffee shop. I love checking out local craft coffee shops like this one and their coffee was superb. We grabbed one of their coffee bags that I can’t wait to brew at home. If you are a coffee lover, you definitely need to stop by!

World Famous Crochet Museum
A unique spot I wanted to check out in Joshua Tree was the World Famous Crochet Museum. The museum has a huge collection of crochet animals and more. My aunt made two crochet animal toys for Sage, which we love. They are just so sweet! I wore this new crochet set from Sezane that day, and I thought it was the perfect outfit for the location lol. The museum is located in the Art Queen Complex with many other shops to check out!

Look For Murals
One of my favorite things to do when I visit a new town/city is to look for cool murals that are unique to the place! I really liked this mural on the side of The End shop. The colors and designs are so fun, I couldn’t resist snapping a few photos with Sage here!
Where To Shop

Acme 62
Acme 62 is exactly the kind of boutique I am obsessed with! I loved their unique collection of modern, bohemian style pieces that are locally and globally made. Andrew and I loved everything in this store, and we gathered so many ideas for decorating our home. They also had a really cool backyard patio area with plants, ceramics, lounge chairs, and more!

Sun Of The Desert
Sun Of The Desert is a general store offering men’s clothing, apothecary items, sundries and more. I loved this aesthetic of this shop and the fun mix of modern and new! I would have worn many of the pieces myself lol. The shop extends outside to the backyard where you can find more unique items to shop. It’s such a fun vibe, I definitely recommend checking out this cool shop!

Industry Of All Nations
If you love clothing that is sustainable, then you have to check out Industry Of All Nations. The quality of their pieces amazing, and they are responsibly made to last. I really loved the modern, minimal aesthetic of this shop and their curated selection of goods. They have a very cool vibe for sure!

Time Echo Vintage
If you are a vintage lover then Joshua Tree is the town for you! There are so many vintage shops all over this town. One of my favorites was Time Echo Vintage. They had an amazing selection of curated vintage clothing for women, and men.

The End
XOXO
