Schyler and I are celebrating our 8th Valentine’s day together this year! The last couple of years we’ve opted to stay in for Valentine’s rather than going out to dinner and stressing. We love picking out a special recipe to make together for dinner with a bottle of fancy wine while listening to records. During the day, we love indulging in some of our favorite sweets! We started off 2022 by making a conscious effort to cut back on screen time and spend more quality together and it has been so good for us. So a special day dedicated to our love is such a great way to celebrate that!

We love these chocolate croissants from Trader Joe’s. I spent a summer in Florence studying architecture and traveling Europe when we first started dating in my early 20’s and I became totally obsessed with chocolate croissants! These chocolate croissants are the closest I’ve had to those divine croissants I remember in Europe. We also picked up macarons from Trader Joe’s and these adorable mousse cakes! In case you didn’t know, their pastries are just too good.

We got a little more dressed up than we usually do for the festivities! I’ve gotten really into thrifting over the past few years so my jacket, sweater, and Schyler’s top were all thrifted. The colors in Schyler’s paisley button up shirt were perfect for Valentine’s day and it looked so cute coordinated with my Valentine’s day outfit. Your girl loves some outfit coordination, no shame here!
