We just celebrated Indio’s 3rd birthday a few days ago! It’s always a busy time because a few days after Indio’s birthday is our anniversary. We laughed and cried while looking at Indio’s birthday photos over the years and old photos of him when he was a puppy. I can’t believe how fast the time has flown, it’s so crazy! Being his dog mommy has definitely been challenging at times, but very rewarding.

I love sharing photos of my adorable labradoodle Indio, especially during the holiday seasons! It’s so important to me to document memories like this that we can look back on forever. Today’s post is in celebration of Indio’s 3rd fall season! He’s actually spent each fall in a different city, Portland, Nashville, and now Pittsburgh! I love the photos that Schyler captured of us.
It’s been awhile since I shared photos or an update on my beloved labradoodle Indio. Indio turned 1 earlier this year in March and we are quickly making our to the big 2, I can’t believe it! He, along with mom and dad, has been struggle-inggg this summer with the humidity hear in Pittsburgh so he has preferred his curls kept short 😉 He has been going through a couple of health struggles that mom has been researching and trying to figure out how to address for months!
My standard labradoodle Indio is two years old this month! I can’t believe how fast time has flown by. We gave him a birthday “cake” last year and he loved it so much so we got him another one this year to celebrate. He is such a funny guy… a little naughty at times, but he always makes us laugh and is a huge part of our little family now!
Meal time is Indio’s favorite part of the day! When I brought Indio (my standard male labradoodle) home from the breeder, she had a specific puppy food brand that she wanted me to feed him. Normally, dogs need to eat puppy food until they are about 18 months old! Now that Indio is nearing adulthood (I can’t believe it!), I wanted to re-evaluate the dog food we feed him. Indio is my little baby, so it’s really important for me to know that he is eating dog food that is delicious, nutritious, and safe for him. I’m so glad that I found this amazing brand, Earthborn Holistic, that offers a more holistic approach to pet nutrition with nourishing, high quality ingredients!
I have been wanting to write this blog post for so long! I have been Indio’s mommy for a year now (check out this blog post to see Indio’s first year) and I have learned SO much about being a dog mommy. I’ve rounded my absolute must haves for a new puppy in this blog post. Everything is from Amazon so you can easily order and have it shipped to your door. What’s not to love? 😉
Celebrating My Puppy Labradoodle Indio’s 1st Birthday!
By Esperanza on March 16, 2020I can’t believe it’s been almost a year that Indio has been in our lives! We adopted Indio from Forevergreen Farm Labradoodles when he was 2 months old. He was my dream puppy and has made me the happiest dog mom (besides a little naughtiness ;P). I wanted to celebrate his first birthday by sharing some photos of him throughout the year. It’s crazy to see how much hew grew every month!
I couldn’t resist capturing some fun photos of my labradoodle puppy Indio’s first Christmas! I thought it would be really fun to bring him along to the Christmas tree farm to pick out our tree for his first Christmas. I took him to Furrow Farms in Hillsboro, near Portland, OR. We had so much fun shooting these photos and I think they turned out so cute so I wanted to share them with you guys! 😀
As you guys know, I became a dog mom earlier this year! I brought my puppy Indio home in May and he is now 8 months old. I can’t believe how fast time is flying! He is the sweetest, cuddliest, cutest puppy and I couldn’t be luckier to be his mom. He makes life fun! I couldn’t resist snapping some photos of Indio for his first Fall in this world.
As a new dog mom, I’m always searching for the best products for my sweet Indio. (In case you missed the post about my new puppy, you can read more about him here!) I try to make healthy choices about what I put in my body, so of course I want to do the same for my growing pup. I recently discovered Freshpet for mealtimes which both Indio and I love!
