Schyler and I have been trying to catch the cherry blossoms in bloom here in Pittsburgh for weeks now! It seemed like we were waiting forever, we had such a long winter here in Pittsburgh, but we finally got to enjoy them this Easter on the Pittsburgh waterfront. The view of the Pittsburgh cityscape through the blossoms was breathtaking!
I thought I would share this look from a coffee date with my fiance Schyler last week! We grabbed my favorite drink, an iced oat milk vanilla latte, from my favorite Pittsburgh coffee shop, KLVN Coffee Lab. I loved this casual outfit for a day of exploring our neighborhood. It has a bit of a masculine look to it, especially with this mens vintage leather Averix jacket that my dad bought me at an antique store near Portland, OR. I paired it with my classic black Doc Martens, a vintage band tee, and my comfiest Levi jeans. My worn in baseball cap completes the look!

I couldn’t wait to get out in the fresh snow that just fell in Pittsburgh a few days ago! Last year, we had snow for Christmas, but this year it didn’t snow until mid January. I knew that as soon as it snowed I wanted to get out to shoot some photos because I didn’t get the chance to last year! It was freezing but Schyler and I layered up for a quick photo shoot! I wore my coziest jacket and fuzzy accessories to keep me warm, must haves in my Pennsylvania winter wardrobe.
Houseplants are one of my very favorite things in the world, along with coffee and home goods and luckily for me, most of these shops have all three! I’ve discovered these amazing little shops over the past year and a half of living in Pittsburgh. I thought I would share these gems for other plant lovers who live here, but also for anyone who just moved here or for those of you that my be visiting the Burgh. I hope you enjoy this post!

I live in Pittsburgh’s east end, very close to Butler St. in the Lawrenceville neighborhood. It’s a very popular shopping street here in Pittsburgh with lots of restaurants, boutiques, coffee shops, tattoo shops, and more to explore! I personally love spending the day walking down streets like this popping in to this store, grabbing a coffee, a late brunch, those are some of the things I really love enjoying in life. When we lived in Portland and Nashville, I shared lots of street + travel guides which are some of my most viewed blog posts! This beautiful place is hands down my favorite spot in Pittsburgh! This beautiful building reminds me of the stunning architecture in Paris. I have a huge affinity for everything Parisian so I instantly fell in love the first time I visited. I’m also obsessed with plants and I love botanical gardens! It’s called Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Garden and it’s located right next to the university area here in Pittsburgh. We finally made it over there to capture some photos for the blog and I love how they turned out.
After a year of living in Pittsburgh, restaurants are finally starting to open back up which I’m thrilled about! I love amazing food + interiors with great ambience. My background is in interior design so I really appreciate beautiful spaces, especially in commercial design. In this blog post I will be sharing some of the Pittsburgh restaurants I love and I will be adding to the list as I discover new spots.
