During my friend Elle’s visit, I planned a fun “girls trip” for us in Scottsdale. Scottsdale is a very popular city in Phoenix and definitely a tourist destination because of all it’s fabulous hotels, restaurants, boutiques, and more. I live in a southeast suburb of Phoenix and I don’t make it up to Scottsdale often but I love the area! This was Elle’s first time visiting Phoenix so I thought it would be fun for us to spend most of our trip in Scottsdale. We visited so many cute spots that I will be highlighting in this blog post.

Staycation At Mountain Shadows In Scottsdale
By Esperanza on May 3, 2024My oldest friend, Elle, came to visit me in Phoenix recently so that she could meet baby Sage! We have been friends for over 15 years but it had been a few years since we were together in person. I wanted us to have a really special time so I planned a girls staycation for us at the beautiful Mountain Shadows resort. It’s a chic, high end resort (4.5 stars) with modern mid century vibes. This hotel has everything from a historic golf course to a luxurious outdoor swimming pool. We had such a fabulous stay and enjoyed some much needed girl time! In this blog post, I’m sharing a review of our stay which I hope will be helpful for those planning a trip to Scottsdale.
A Mini Travel Guide To Historic Bisbee, AZ
By Esperanza on January 14, 2024Over the Christmas holiday, my parents took my sister and I to explore Tombstone and Bisbee, two historic towns in Arizona. I couldn’t believe how cute Bisbee was! It’s a very small town but the historic downtown area had a ton of cute boutiques, restaurants, and cool street art. So I decided to whip out my camera and snap some photos so I could share a mini Bisbee travel guide for any of you that may be planning a trip to this cute little tourist spot! We had fun walking around exploring the antique stores and shops and shared a few yummy pastries at a patisserie before heading back to Phoenix.

Sedona is absolutely beautiful and there is so much to do and explore there, but this should be a good start if you are looking for recommendations for your trip to Sedona.
A Day In Flagstaff, AZ: Where To Eat & What To Do
By Esperanza on November 28, 2023In late October my parents and I took a trip to northern Arizona to see the fall leaves. We really enjoyed exploring the area and plan on going back next year and bringing baby boy too! In this blog post, I’m sharing some of the restaurants, boutiques, and things we did while visiting Flagstaff.

A Mini Guide To Laguna Beach In Orange County
By Esperanza on October 19, 2023My parents and I visited Laguna Beach for the day on our recent trip to California. We all agreed that we absolutely loved it! Not only is Laguna gorgeous but it boasts the most beautiful beaches, amazing boutiques, and great restaurants. My mom played photographer for me for the day and I was able to capture some great content that day. I love the beach maternity photos we were able to capture towards the end of my 5th month of pregnancy! I definitely need to plan a trip to Laguna Beach in the future with more time to explore! I wanted to share some of the beaches and spots we checked out that day.
At the end of September I went on a trip to California with my parents who live in the Phoenix area. My sister Rocio was able to join us for the first half of the trip before heading back to Los Angeles. My mom wanted to explore the beaches in California while staying at a hotel in Escondido for the week. All three of them have been to San Diego several times but since I had never visited, they decided to take me around the city for the day. At almost 6 months pregnant, I was proud of myself for doing so much walking and exploring. I had to drink a ton of water, tried to keep the sun out of my face, and take some breaks for sure. I was able to get a pretty good feel of San Diego in a short amount of time so I thought I would share a few things to do there!
A Local’s Guide To Tri-Cities, WA
By Esperanza on October 5, 2023I decided to pull together a little guide to my hometown of Tri-Cities, WA! The area has grown so much since we moved back and there are some really cool spots that have more of a bigger city feel like Portland or Seattle which I was thrilled to discover. I’ve included some of my favorite boutiques, restaurants, and coffee shops although there are many that didn’t make it into my guide. I’ve also mentioned a few things to do in the area! I hope this guide is helpful for anyone moving to this quickly growing city or even a local who wants to discover some new spots.

By Esperanza on August 18, 2023Ojai, California is a place that I have always wanted to visit! I had heard amazing things about the calm, peaceful, and serene vibes in this beautiful California town. So when I flew to Los Angeles to visit my sister, I decided that we had to do a roadtrip to Ojai! It worked out perfectly because we went at the beginning of my visit and stopped in Malibu for the day on our way back to Los Angeles. Check out my Malibu blog post here! We were there for about 24 hours and visited so many cute boutiques and stayed at the cutest vintage airstream resort, Caravan Outpost. It was the perfect girl’s trip!
