This past weekend, we celebrated our first wedding anniversary. One year of marriage has completely flown by, and when I look back at everything we’ve accomplished together, I can hardly believe it’s all happened in just one year. We had an incredible three-week honeymoon in Italy, toddler in tow, moved states twice, got pregnant with our baby boy, and bought our first house in the prettiest city, which we’re now renovating and turning into our home. It’s been such a full and exciting year, and I’m so grateful I get to experience all of it with my incredible husband Andrew.

As a little girl, I always dreamed of having a loving husband, being a mom, and having a house of my own. I couldn’t have found a more hardworking, handsome, and supportive husband than Andrew. We also have so many big goals and dreams for our future, including moving to Italy someday, and I know we’ll accomplish them together. I love looking at where we are now and thinking about where we’re headed, because there’s still so much life ahead of us and so many dreams we want to make a reality.

I still can’t believe that a widower and a single mom matched on a dating app against all odds—and now, here we are, building the life we once dreamed about. I love you so much, Andrew, and I’m so grateful for you and for the life we’re creating together. Happy first anniversary, my love. Here’s to all the years, adventures, and dreams still ahead of us.
