Chic Aesthetic Boutique Hotel In Los Angeles
If you are looking for a unique hotel experience in Los Angeles then look no further! The beautiful Hotel June has such a chic aesthetic, an amazing swim club & restaurant, coffee shop, valet car service, and it’s located near the LAX airport. My sister Rocio and I stayed there for a night while I was visiting her this past spring and we absolutely loved it! I’m obsessed with the design aesthetic and I have to say, as a former interior designer, this boutique hotel hands down has my favorite interiors of all the hotels I’ve stayed at. Totally my style!
The Location
Hotel June is located in West Los Angeles in a renovated Mid-Century Modern style building. It’s only 5 min away from the beach, the trendy Playa Vista neighborhood, LAX airport, and within walking distance to popular dining, entertainment and parks. You can easily hop on to the freeway to head to more Los Angeles destinations so the location really is perfect! Especially if you are flying in and out of LAX as a tourist visiting the city.
Scenic Route Coffee Shop
Upon entering the building, you will find yourself in the spacious and inviting Hotel June lobby. We loved the lobby design from the cozy seating area to the statement hotel lobby desk! Located next the lobby is Scenic Route, Hotel June’s coffee bar and cafe. In the morning this is the spot to be for coffee and their classic June breakfast. It’s also a great spot to end the evening with a night cap! The interiors of this light filled cafe are stunning and there is plenty of seating if you need to get some work done remotely.

Caravan Swim Club
You have to make a little time to check out this Baja-inspired pool deck! We squeezed in some time in the morning to soak up the sun while lounging on their day beds. Or you can enjoy the views from the elevated terrace where the Caravan Swim Club restaurant is located. They offer a flavorful menu of local fish tacos, organic steaks, seasonal salads, oysters, and shareable snacks as well as cocktails, biodynamic wines, craft bear, and small-batch tequilas. In the evening we headed up there for their Taco Tuesday dinner, totally delicious! They even have fire pits and the pool is heated so take advantage of that in the evenings.
The Room
Our room had such a simple, clean, and airy vibe which made it perfect for relaxing after a long day of driving around Malibu. The bathroom was beautiful with marble tile floors & shower, a pedestal sink, and black accents. Rocio and I loved the Aesop bath products! We also had a beautiful view from our hotel room and a ton of natural light in the morning which was lovely to wake up to. We had such a fun girl’s night in after enjoying our taco night at the Caravan Swim Club and in the morning we headed to Scenic Route. I wish we could have stayed for several nights!
Voted one of the 11 best boutique hotels in Los Angeles, you will will not regret booking a stay at this chic, unique hotel. Rocio and I had the best time there and definitely plan on going back! Book your stay here.
