Gingham Style & Biketown In Portland

This past weekend, my good friend and I had a blast playing tourist in our own city! After fueling up on some Good Coffee, we rented Nike bikes from the Biketown kiosk on Hawthorne and headed to the Tillikum Crossing bridge for some stunning views of the city.

This blue gingham romper was perfect for our adventure. Gingham is “so in” right now and I couldn’t be happier. This pattern screams summer to me!  The lightweight material is breezy and comfortable on a hot summer day; I find jean shorts to be too constricting. For this reason I prefer dresses and rompers that I can breathe in. White high top converse and a fabric backpack complete this fun summer look.

We finished the day by riding the aerial tram up to a vantage point of the city. The perfect ending to a perfect day! What has been your “go to” outfit this summer?

  9. Love your style! My Go-to outfit for the summer is the tank top and shorts. Summers are burning hot in Dubai…you can easily become a roasted chicken! 😉

  11. Pretty romper! Unfortunately, since I have to work 5 out of the 7 days of the week, I have a prescribed uniform that I have to wear. So, not as many choices for me. 🙁
