A few weekends ago, my sister Rocio and I got the chance to go to Bumbershoot, a music festival in Seattle. During our trip, we stayed at The Graduate Hotel near the University of Washington campus. The hotel has a historic 1930’s Art Deco design which I love! We drove to Seattle from Portland so we had my car with us. The hotel had valet parking which was great because I didn’t have to worry about my car.

The lobby was absolutely stunning. The walls were covered with beautiful old paintings! The lounge area was surround by tall bookcases, a super cool feature wall made of old amps, and a fireplace. I loved the beautiful seashell chandeliers hanging from ceiling! It was truly a unique room. And how great is the vintage furniture?!

There are a ton of seating areas in the lobby from the fireside communal coffee table to the semi-private conversation seating. Another room along the amp wall, offers more seating and work tables. It’s a great area to work or relax in!

We didn’t get the chance to visit the Mountaineering Club, a rooftop bar with amazing views of the city, but I highly recommend it!

Our room was super cozy! I loved the vintage design of the decor. We had a beautiful view of Seattle from our room and there was a ton of natural light from the windows. The tile floor was amazing as well! It was just so cute.

In the mornings we had breakfast and coffee at Poindexter Coffee on the first floor, located just off the lobby. Poindexter serves ready made meals like yoghurt with granola and sandwiches. They also serve hot meals like breakfast sandwiches and warm granola bowls. The food was great and the coffee was too! At night, Poindexter serves wine from local Washington and Oregon growers. Poindexter had a cute vintage theme too. I loved the plaid wall paper, retro art work, and the pencil art on the coffee bar. So cute!

If you are planning a trip to Seattle, I would definitely recommend The Graduate Hotel! We had an amazing stay there and the hotel really is so cute. Book your stay here.

XOXO
