Who doesn’t love a good thrifted outfit? Thrifting has become so popular today for good reason. A thrifted outfit is trendy, saves you money, and it’s sustainable! Today I’m sharing an outfit I put together with some of my favorite thrifted pieces to kick off Project Re:Made with thredUP.

So what is Project Re:Made? The thredUP team has commissioned 12 artists from Instagram to create artworks in response to the statement “Climate Change is Not Real”. The creations are a mix of cute, funny, ironic and provocative tongue-in-cheek responses to climate change denial. They then screen-printed the art onto secondhand white tees from their inventory. They will be selling these awesome tees starting April 17th! You can buy the t-shirts here.

All net proceeds will be given to the carbon offset non-profit Cool Effect. Cool Effect is fighting hard to reduce carbon pollution. To learn more about the inspiration behind the campaign, click here.

I love that thredUP is an environmentally conscious brand! I think it’s really important for us to do what we can to live sustainably and help protect our environment. Here are some of the ways I live sustainably:

-Turning off lights

-Recycling

-Drinking from the tap

-Reselling and donating items

-Thrifting

These are all really simple things that you can incorporate into your life that can make a huge difference! For more ideas, here is a list of some amazing eco-bloggers that are living life fully and sustainably.

Be sure to check out thredUp to learn more about Project Re:Made and maybe even score one of those tees! 😉

How do you guys live sustainably? I’d love to know!

XOXO
