At 7 1/2 months postpartum, it was time for a little mommy makeover! I needed a boost in confidence and some self care after many months of sleep deprivation and non-stop mommy duties lol. I wanted to get my hair done (dye & fresh cut) at my favorite salon in Scottsdale. I wanted to freshen up with some botox/fillers at Giovanni Med Spa and I decided it was time to try getting my first wax at Opal Raw Beauty! In this blog post, I am sharing more about my experiences at these local Phoenix businesses.

Lady & Wolf Salon

I had my hair done by Grace (@elevate.grace) at Lady & Wolf Salon in January just before Sage’s due date. I thought it would be a good time to do it because I wasn’t going to be making into the hair salon any time soon after having him and I’m so glad I did! After 8 months, it was definitely time for a touch up on my hair dye and cut. On this visit, Grace went a little darker on my hair then the last time and we added more layers, bangs, and face framing pieces. I absolutely love how it turned out! The color is so rich and I love the extra layers which give my hair more volume and make it easy to style.

Giovanni Med Spa

I had a little bit of botox in my forehead before I got pregnant, but I haven’t had filler in my crows feet for a few years now. A few months ago, I started noticing a lot of wrinkles in both those areas whenever I would look in the mirror and smile with Sage which was definitely starting to bug me. I visited Giovanni Med Spa and Erika filled my forehead, crows feet, and gave me a little lip flip (4 shots of botox above the lip to get it to “flip” out.) Since then, I have been visiting Giovanni Med Spa for the Venus Legacy cellulite treatment on the back of my thighs and stomach as well as laser hair removal! Opal Raw Beauty

As a latina, I have always had thick hair on my armpits, legs, toes, and pubic area (too much info lol?!). I have never gotten waxed in those areas before, I had always been too scared to do it, but I was so sick of shaving constantly and getting in grown hairs all the time so I had to do something. Bridget at Opal Raw Beauty gave me a Brazilian wax and waxed those other areas that were bothering me. It was actually not as bad as I thought it would be although I can’t say that it didn’t hurt lol.
