We just moved in to the most beautiful, brand new apartment building in Nashville! As you guys know, we moved across the country from Portland, OR so we had to leave all of our furniture at home and moved with only the essentials in the back of our car. Luckily, I was able to bring a few decor pieces to start with but the decorating process is definitely going to take awhile. The first room that is close to being done is my bedroom so I thought I would show you guys the progress!

I partnered up with Lull who gifted me this beautiful wood bed frame, an amazing mattress, and bedding. I was thrilled to start our room off with these essential pieces! I love the mid-century vibes of the bed frame and the beautiful, rich tone of the wood.

The beautiful, Colombian blanket at the end of the bed was gifted to me by my mom. The amazing plant beside my bed is a Bird of Paradise, one of the first plants in my new plant collection!

I don’t think there is anything better than beautiful white, crisp bedding! This bedding set is insanely soft to the touch and super lush. The Lull mattress is firm, yet super soft and squishy. It’s the prefect combination of both which I love because I have a lot of back pain! It’s been a total dream.

One of my favorite features in the room is this DIY basket wall! I definitely plan on growing it as I find more baskets! Super affordable, and looks really bohemian which I love.

I purchased this mid-century chair and dresser recently, some of my first purchases for the new apartment! They are a little older and a bit worn naturally but the quality of the pieces is amazing. You just don’t find that anymore!

I styled the top of the dresser with a few knick-knacks that I brought with me from Portland! I love the modern-bohemian feel of the apartment so far. I definitely plan on adding a few more pieces and re-arranging a bit as I go along but I love how it looks so far!
