Over the Christmas holiday, my parents took my sister and I to explore Tombstone and Bisbee, two historic towns in Arizona. I couldn’t believe how cute Bisbee was! It’s a very small town but the historic downtown area had a ton of cute boutiques, restaurants, and cool street art. So I decided to whip out my camera and snap some photos so I could share a mini Bisbee travel guide for any of you that may be planning a trip to this cute little tourist spot! We had fun walking around exploring the antique stores and shops and shared a few yummy pastries at a patisserie before heading back to Phoenix.

As I am writing this blog post, I am actually at full term (37 weeks) which is so crazy! This pregnancy has felt so long, but also very fast at times as well. I wanted to share some of the products that really got me through my pregnancy for all the other first time mommas out there who are curious about what they will need. Visiting Tombstone, AZ At Christmas

Over the Christmas holiday, my parents took my sister and I to Tombstone to explore this historic, cowboy themed town! My mom had already taken a few friends to this tourist spot but the rest of us had never been so it was very exciting. The town was decorated for Christmas with a big tree in the center which I of course had to get some photos with! It’s about an hour southeast of Tucson so you can easily add it to your itinerary if you are planning a trip to Tucson or southern Arizona.

I wanted to do a maternity lingerie style photo shoot inspired by one that I did last year while I was still living in Pittsburgh! I’ve linked that blog post here if you guys want to check that out but I wore the same lingerie set and Levi jeans. I did the same thing with a swimsuit photo shoot I did in Malibu a few months before my pregnancy began here and one at 6 months pregnant here wearing the same swimsuit in La Jolla. I thought it was a fun way of looking back at how much my body has changed during pregnancy and honoring my body both before and after!

I decided to put together a little guide with my top 15 baby registry must haves for all the new mommas out there like me! I watched SO many YouTube videos and read several blog posts researching what other moms out there said were there must haves as well as items to leave off because I really wanted to make sure I had everything I really needed on my registry. Of course this list/these items will vary from mom to mom and their preferences and not every single item I am including is essential. This is just supposed to be a helpful starting place!

The holidays have been a little hard for me this year needless to say, after having spent them with a partner for the past 10 years and now spending them very pregnant and single. As hard as they have been this year, I know the holidays will be very joyful when I get to spend them with my baby boy in the years to come. I have been so exhausted lately but I still trekked out to a local nursery here in the Phoenix area to shoot some pictures on my tripod to remember the Christmas I was 8 months pregnant with him and I’m so glad I did! Even though my camera charger blew out when I plugged it in to try to sneak in a few more photos. Tis the season lol.

I wanted to share a quick guide for a weekend in Sedona! My parent’s and I spent 4 days exploring northern Arizona including Flagstaff, Sedona, Jerome, and Prescott. We stayed in a cabin in Oak Creek just outside of Sedona and went in to Sedona a few times during our stay. In this guide I am sharing the things we did while visiting Sedona all of which would fit very nicely into a weekend or even a day trip if you really wanted to squeeze it all in! Sedona is absolutely beautiful and there is so much to do and explore there, but this should be a good start if you are looking for recommendations for your trip to Sedona.

Over Thanksgiving weekend, my parent’s held a baby shower for me at their home in Phoenix where I have been living for the past several months now. We wanted to have the baby shower when my sister and sister in law were in town so it worked out that they could be there since they live in California and Oregon. My mom invited several of her friends from the community and it was so nice of them to come celebrate the baby and I! I spent several weeks prior to the baby shower getting all the decor together, coming up with ideas for the food, games, etc. My sister arrived early in the week to help me get things together and she, mom, and sister in law helped me get everything ready for the party the day of!

In late October my parents and I took a trip to northern Arizona to see the fall leaves. None of us had been to Flagstaff before and it’s such a quick road trip from the Oak Creek area of Sedona where we were staying in a cabin for five days, that we decided to spend one of those days exploring this cute town. We really enjoyed exploring the area and plan on going back next year and bringing baby boy too!
