Phoenix is such a cute southwestern city that should be on everyone’s list of U.S. travel destinations! The sunny weather there is perfect for vacations and the people there are friendly. From what I learned while chatting with the local business owners, so many new trendy spots have opened up making it a great spot to visit for tourists. I got the chance to visit so many cute boutiques, coffee shops, restaurants, and more and I’ve included everything in this guide for you guys. I hope it will be helpful for anyone visiting or even moving to Phoenix!

Things To Do

The Scott Resort & Spa + The Canal Club

I had seen so many photos of The Canal Club and The Scott Resort & Spa so I really wanted to check it out during my trip! My mom and sister and I were able to explore the grounds a bit which were so beautiful. The resort is stunning and I’m obsessed with the design of the hotel! The Canal Club is a cocktail bar with drinks and bites and there is a restaurant next door for those that want to dine in and plenty of beautiful seating areas in the main lobby. I would love to go back and stay the resort next visit! There were so many Instagrammable photo opps around every corner 😉

“It’s That Hot Mural”

I always love capturing shots with fun murals! This mural caught my eye while I was doing research for my trip to Phoenix because of the colorful desert scene. I love the blue cacti depicted and the bright sun, it’s the perfect Arizona mural for your Instagram feed! This mural is located on the side of a restaurant called Geisha A Go Go in Scottsdale.

Papago Park

This beautiful park in Phoenix is home to the Phoenix Botanical Garden and the popular “Hole In The Rock” hike. The palm trees lining the edge of this pond made it look like an oasis in the middle of the desert! I thought it was a pretty setting for some cute summery photos. I noticed some people having picnic here which I thought was really cute, maybe after exploring the Phoenix Botanical Garden…? 😉

“Hole In The Rock”

This easy hike is the perfect Phoenix activity to add to your itinerary on a trip to this desert city! The “hole in the rock” is a large enough size to where you can capture some cool photos next to it. Unfortunately the view was very overexposed when we visited in the morning so you may want to take that into account if you really want to see the view! This is a cool shot to capture on a trip to Phoenix.

Freak Brothers Pizza at The Churchill

We had lunch at an open air food court called The Churchill on our first day in downtown Phoenix. The space is very industrial chic and such a fun spot to hang out with friends or family! They have a range of restaurants to dine from and even boutiques like Gather PHX. We had a gluten free pizza from Freak Brothers with cashew cheese and it was delicious! But we really loved the setting and the games, it’s a fun spot for sure and close to tons.

Prep & Pastry

Located in Scottsdale’s Fashion Square, this popular cafe Prep & Pastry, is the perfect spot for brunch or a quick coffee + pastry combo while shopping! We popped in for a late lunch before heading to Old Town Scottsdale for the afternoon. My mom, sister, and I split a grilled cheese, omelette, and a cocktail! We also shared an iced vanilla latte and a rose vanilla latte.

Berdena’s

Another adorable cafe located in Scottsdale, Berdena’s offers specialty coffee drinks and delicious bites! This location is a little smaller but offers bench seating along the large front windows and table seating to the right of the coffee bar. I love the chic, modern farmhouse feel and the peg board plant/coffee displays around the shop were adorable! They have a new location opening soon in The Frederick, another collective space you must check out in Phoenix.

Mythical Coffee

This new coffee shop in Gilbert, AZ, located in the Phoenix metro, is super cute! I love the terrazzo coffee bar and that teal subway tile backsplash makes for a fun combo. This industrial space with indoor and outdoor seating, definitely looked like a popular spot when we were visiting! We picked up vanilla lattes from Mythical Coffee on our way in to downtown Phoenix.

Kream Coffee

This adorable coffee spot is located in the same building as For The People, a modern home goods and furniture store. The space is perfectly curated, you can browse the shop, or lounge with your Kream Coffee order! We ordered a delicious iced vanilla latte and cold brew for fuel on our busy day of exploring in Phoenix. Be sure to check out Local Nomad just minutes away! Such a cute boutique.

Futuro Coffee

This modern cafe is located in the Palabra buildling, a collective space near The Churchill. Futuro Coffee has a very contemporary feel with clean, sleak interiors, vibrant art installations, and even a film projector! They serve specialty coffee drinks and pastries. It’s definitely a unique spot worth visiting in the heart of downtown Phoenix! Be sure to check out all the shops and restaurants next door at The Churchill too. We loved that spot too!

Creative Kind

Creative Kind is the cutest locally curated gift shop located next to Batea Boutique in The Frederick! It’s the perfect shop to find a gift, souvenir, or something for yourself. I loved all the cute designs from local artists and makers! You are sure to find something cute in this bright, fun shop.

Pueblo

This adorable plant shop, Pueblo, sells so many different kinds of plants as well as other gift and home decor items! They even had an outdoor courtyard, mobile coffee cart, and greenhouses. It’s such a cute spot to check out while visiting Phoenix for a coffee and some shopping. I thought they had very reasonable prices on plants too so if you live in the area and love plants this shop is a must!

Phoenix General

This popular local shop, Phoenix General has a few locations in town! We visited the downtown location in the Roosevelt Row Arts District. There shops have a curated selection of home goods, clothing, and more from local and international designers and artists. Their hand picked items are ethical, sustainable, and high quality so you can’t go wrong! This location was in a shared building with a cool restaurant, coffee shop, and more.

Vida Moulin

This chic clothing boutique, Vida Moulin had the most adorable collection of modern bohemian pieces from dress to swimsuits and more from brands like For Love and Lemons, Beach Riot, and Frankies Bikinis. They also had an amazing selection of home decor, gifts and more at the back of the store. I loved the chic style of the interiors too down to the amazing florals. Located in The Frederick!

This boutique marketplace, The Merchantile Of Scottsdale, in Old Town Scottsdale has so many cute vendor stalls to browse + shop in! The vendors are local businesses, makers, and merchants, lots of handmade goods and unique items. It’s definitely a spot you need to pop into while visiting this popular area, especially if you love shopping!

Form Floral

This modern floral shop, Form Floral, had the most stunning dried florals, fresh florals, pottery, gifts and more! They also offer floral design services and I loved the sleek modern look of the interiors. I ended up taking a beautiful dried palm fan home! Be sure to stop next door for a snow cone 😉 Located in The Frederick!
