A little while before Schyler and I moved to Nashville, my sister and I shot these retro photos! I had spotted these locations while driving around Portland and had them written down on my phone for future shoot locations. All of the photo locations were very retro and funny enough they were all car businesses! If you guy’s are new here, you should know, I love anything retro! On one of the days my sister had off from work we finally went and shot these photos! I love how they turned out so I had to share them with you guys.

The location for these first images was called Matthews Memory Lane Motors Inc. on Holgate Blvd in Portland. As soon as I saw the old cars parked out front and the retro car mural on the building, I knew I had to shoot here! This sweater looked perfect there too. These photos remind me of that Beach Boy’s song “and she’ll have fun, fun, fun till her daddy takes the T-Bird away…” 😛

The sky was actually overcast and very dreary so I edited a colorful sky into the images to make them a little more lively! Love the retro feel they add to the images.

Unfortunately the sweater is vintage so I can’t like it but here is a similar pair of boots.

This next location was also car themed! The building is McCollum Automotive on 82nd Ave in Portland. We drove by it every week on our way to get groceries at Trader Joe’s and I knew that I had to shoot there. So glad I finally got the chance too! I love the retro black and white checkers painted on the walls. There were a couple tires up front that I couldn’t resist posing with even though all car drivers on the main road in front kept gawking so we didn’t take many! Oh the joy’s of content creating ;P

Side note: Rocio said I looked like Ariana Grande here because of the ponytail and knee high boots lol! Similar boots here.

These last photos were taken at a gem of a car wash in Clackamas on 82nd Ave called Pinky’s! I happened upon it one day and fell in love with the bright pastel colors and neon lights. I wore my sister’s thrifted pink fringed top to match with the building! I love the motion it brought in the second image. We had to quickly take photos here but I’m glad I got a few shots there!

I edited a little bit more colors in the sky onto these images as well!
