Earlier this summer Rocio, Indio, and I got to stay in the cutest Getaway cabin near Mt. Adams in Washington! I had seen these cabins all over Instagram and Pinterest so I was really excited to stay in their new Washington campground. It was only about an hour and a half outside of Portland so it was the perfect weekend trip! The campground is full of these amazing modern cabins.

The cabins are basically tiny houses with a kitchenette, bathroom, shower, bedroom, and dining area. Our cabin was super cool, I absolutely loved it! It was the perfect size and had everything we could want. Let’s be honest, tent camping can be fun but this cabin is so much better! It was really nice to be surrounded by nature while still being in total comfort.

This big window was absolutely amazing! I loved looking out at this view and it let it tons of natural light. We spent a lot of time getting cozy on the bed! My friend Tonya and her boyfriend were staying at the campsite at the same time as us and we all drove into Hood River one day. It’s a really cute town about half an hour from the campsite. We stopped into several shops, had lunch at a brewery, and finished the day off with ice cream! In the evenings we played cards at the dining table which was super fun. We also went on several walks with the dogs around the campsite. It was such an amazing stay and I loved “unplugging” for a few days with no social media!

This was Indio’s first camping trip and he had so much fun!

Getaway has several campsites across the East Coast and they will have a California location soon too in Big Bear! We absolutely loved our stay there and definitely recommend it.
