I was pleasantly surprised by how many amazing local shops there are in Phoenix! My parents retired in the Phoenix metro several years ago but we hadn’t gotten to explore in the city during any of my visits. So on this year’s trip, I wanted to get a taste of the local scene in Phoenix. In today’s post, I’m sharing 5 unique local shops in Phoenix! During my Phoenix visit, I was able to meet my parent’s horse Maverick! My parents retired in the Phoenix area 3+ years ago now and board a horse nearby. Growing up on a farm in Eastern Washington, my parents had a ton of horses, so I grew up training and riding horses. Since graduating high school, I’ve always lived in a city so I don’t really get the chance to ride horses often. It was so fun getting the chance to ride again after 5+ years!
While visiting my parents who retired in the Phoenix metro area, I was able to visit several coffee shops and cafes! I thought I would share the spots I visited for others who may be planning a trip to Phoenix or even moving there. Trust me, these spots are super fun and have such cute aesthetics! Schyler and I have been trying to catch the cherry blossoms in bloom here in Pittsburgh for weeks now! It seemed like we were waiting forever, we had such a long winter here in Pittsburgh, but we finally got to enjoy them this Easter on the Pittsburgh waterfront. The view of the Pittsburgh cityscape through the blossoms was breathtaking!

This beautiful place is hands down my favorite spot in Pittsburgh! This beautiful building reminds me of the stunning architecture in Paris. I have a huge affinity for everything Parisian so I instantly fell in love the first time I visited. I’m also obsessed with plants and I love botanical gardens! It’s called Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Garden and it’s located right next to the university area here in Pittsburgh. We finally made it over there to capture some photos for the blog and I love how they turned out.
After a year of living in Pittsburgh, I finally feel like I have a really good grasp of the city and everything it has to offer! I have found several stores and boutiques that I am obsessed with that I wanted to share with those of you who live in Pittsburgh or plan on visiting this beautiful city. I have done this same blog post for Nashville and Portland too, both of which are some of my most popular blog posts so I of course had to do one for Pittsburgh and I plan on sharing a top 20 soon too!
