I hadn’t been to New York since I was in elementary school, so on my recent trip to Europe, I decided to stop in New York to explore the city as an adult with my sister Rocio. I absolutely fell in love with New York! We had such an amazing time there. It definitely helped that we stayed at an amazing hotel in Times Square, LUMA hotel.
San Francisco is easily one of the most unique cities in the states with it’s iconic hills, architecture, and colorful buildings. These factors also make San Francisco a very Instagrammable city to visit. There are photo opp’s around every corner! I’ve been to San Francisco four times now, so I have a pretty good grasp on the different areas around San Fran. So I thought I would make a guide with the most Instagrammable areas AND restaurants around the city!
On my recent trip to San Francisco, my blogger friend Tonya (themoptop.com) and I stayed at the Tilden Hotel in downtown. I really loved the chic, mid-century style interiors at the hotel! I felt right at home in the lobby with all of the cozy seating and work areas. The hotel has two restaurants on the main floor, both located off of the lobby, The Douglas Room and the Tilden Cafe (pictured below).
My sister and I killed it with the Disneyland content (if I do say so myself!) so I decided to make a guide for the best Instagram spots in Disneyland and California Adventures! We only had one day in Disneyland but we managed to hit all of our favorite rides, stop for Disney themed snacks, and shoot our content like the lady bosses we are. Of course there are a ton of cool photo spots all over the park, but these are the best in my opinion ;)!
I am a huge Harry Potter fan (go go Gryffindor!) so it was a dream come true when I got the chance to visit The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios Hollywood! Rocio and I got dressed up in Hogwarts inspired outfits and had so much fun running around the park pretending we were actually at Hogwarts. It was such a cool experience!
I recently took a girls trip to Los Angeles with my sister and my best friend Elle! I’ve been to Anaheim twice to visit Disneyland, but I’ve never actually gotten to explore Los Angeles before. My sister wants to move there in the next couple years so I thought it would be the perfect city for us to visit next! During our week in LA we did a ton of touristy things, visited lots of great restaurants, and stayed at some really cute hotels so I wanted to share all of this with you guys in an LA Travel Guide.
My parents went to Cancun last year and they loved it so much that they wanted to go back again with me and my siblings! Our top priorities were to see some ancient Mayan ruins, cenotes, and relax on the beach. Cancun was a lot different then I thought it would be! There actually isn’t a lot to do in the main city of Cancun besides shopping and eating out. All of the cool adventurous things to do are about 1-3 hours outside of Cancun. So I thought I would put this guide together with some tips for anyone traveling to Cancun!
Rocio and I had been talking about going to Las Vegas for some time now to see the 7 Magic Mountains. When we heard that they were going to be taken down at the end of the year, we decided to make the trip happen sooner rather than later! A few weeks ago, I flew to Charleston for a girls trip with my old friend Carly. Both of us had wanted to visit Charleston for awhile so we decided to just book the tickets. I’m so glad we got the chance to go! Charleston is such a charming little city with a ton of history. I loved the Georgian style architecture, the beautiful homes, and colorful buildings in downtown Charleston. It’s a pretty small city that feels more like a big town so it was super easy to get around by foot, bike, and rental car. The people in Charleston are super friendly and greet you in the streets. The city also has a noise ordinance at night in the historic district so it was really nice walking around at night. It really is a lovely city! While visiting my best friend Elle in Florida, we decided to take a road trip to New Orleans for the weekend! I have always wanted to visit New Orleans so I’m really glad I got the chance to visit with Elle. It was a super quick trip but we manage to squeeze in so much! New Orleans is such a cool city with so much culture and color around every corner. It’s one of those cities that has something beautiful to photograph everywhere.
