The Best Restaurants In Pittsburgh
After a year of living in Pittsburgh, restaurants are finally starting to open back up which I’m thrilled about! I love amazing food + interiors with great ambience. My background is in interior design so I really appreciate beautiful spaces, especially in commercial design. In this blog post I will be sharing some of the Pittsburgh restaurants I love and I will be adding to the list as I discover new spots. I hope this blog post will be helpful for not only Pittsburgh locals but tourists visiting the city!
Bar Botanico
Bar Botanico on Butler St. in Lawrenceville is a must! Butler St. is a very popular street in Pittsburgh filled with boutiques, coffee shops, and more so it’s the perfect spot to pop into for a cocktail, weekend brunch with friends, happy hour + more. Schyler and I had a date night here and the food was absolutely delicious! I am obsessed with the interiors too, especially the bar. They are doing it right!

La Colombe at Coop de Ville
Coop de Ville is a super fun spot in Pittsburgh. Not only do they have a coffee bar serving La Colombe coffee, they also have a cocktail bar, tons of seating and lounge areas, a bowling lane, arcade, and more! There is a really cute reading nook with seating right in front of the coffee bar and tons of seating inside and out so it’s a great spot to hang or just grab a quick coffee.

Lawrenceville Market House
I was so excited when this new spot popped up in Lawrenceville! It’s a chic, modern co-retail space called the Lawrenceville Market House with multiple vendors and a bar serving coffee and donuts. I love the idea of the space and it was designed beautifully. I’ve included images of one of the vendors, Storehouse Neutral, offering a curated collection of home goods, clothing, accessories and more. This is a one stop shop for sure!

Madeleine Bakery & Bistro
I love french style bakeries and cafes so I was really excited about checking out Madeleine Bakery & Bistro, located in a neighborhood near Regent Square. Their chocolate croissants are amazing and I can’t wait to try out the rest of their treats. There is a super cute plant store opening up across the street so I’m sure I’ll be back often! It’s a small bakery but they do have these adorable french style cafe tables + chairs outside. Definitely a cute spot to check out!

Mediterra Cafe
Mediterra Cafe is a fun spot to check out in Pittsburgh’s west end! Not only does this cafe offer amazing pastries and coffee in their bakery, they also have an amazing store section with delicious artisan foods you can shop from. The restaurant complete with a cocktail bar, a private dining room, and outdoor seating makes it a great spot for accommodating all kinds of groups of people. I loved my vanilla latte and chocolate croissant and I definitely plant to visit again the next time I’m over on that side of the city!

Round Corner Cantina
Round Corner Cantina is the spot I would recommend if you’re in the mood for Mexican! I loved the exterior setting of the restaurant, an old hotel, and the beautiful bar when you first step in. I was pleasantly surprised when I found out that there was a patio and even more surprised by the room I walked through to get to it! I loved the banana leaf print wallpaper and The Beverly Hills Hotel vibes of that room. The back patio had a cocktail bar and lots of outdoor seating in what must have been the courtyard of the hotel back in the day! Definitely a cool spot to check out with friends on a night out.
