The Inn at I’On In Charleston Review
The Inn at I’On. This was my first time staying at an Inn and I loved it! We enjoyed our stay there so much that I wanted to share it with all of you 😀
During my recent trip to Charleston, my friend Carly and I wanted to stay in Mount Pleasant so that we could have easier access to the beach! We also wanted to experience a quieter feel and get to know the areas around Charleston a little more. While doing a search for hotels in the Mount Pleasant area, I found the cutest little Inn, The Location
The Inn at I’On is located in the charming I’On community of Mount Pleasant, SC. It’s in the perfect location, only seven minutes away from downtown Charleston and ten minutes from the beautiful beaches on Sullivan’s Island and the Isle of Palms. The Inn was so cute, it really had that Southern charm feel to it! The Inn recently switched ownership and the new owner and staff were so friendly and welcoming, they really made us feel at home! What To Do Near The Inn
The quaint I’On village has several restaurants and boutique shops to explore right outside the Inn, but if you love home decor like I do, then I recommend visiting Celadon, an eclectic, home decor boutique selling goods from Europe and India. It’s also located in Mount Pleasant, about an eight minute drive from the Inn. Celadon offers a wide range of decor from rugs and lamps to couches and ceramics. They sell just about anything you can think of! Their pieces are timeless and sophisticated and I love that they have a story behind them. You can see the quality in each piece which I really appreciate, especially with all the box stores out there! They also have an online shop that you can order from in case you fall in love with something in store but can’t bring back on a plane. What I Loved About The Hotel
We had the perfect room with a large queen sized bed, a spacious bathroom, and a balcony with a view. I loved the wainscoting and the shutters in our room. It really gave the room that charming feel that you look for in an Inn! The bathroom was so cute too with an adorable vanity and a large tub shower. I took a relaxing bath in the tub during my last day at the hotel. I also really loved how quiet the Inn was! I didn’t hear so much as a peep from the other rooms on the second floor which I was pleasantly surprised by. A lot of the times I’ve stayed in hotels I could! It made for a very relaxing atmosphere which is what you want on vacation right?! The Inn provided a breakfast in the morning which was so nice and convenient to wake up to. It was a really good spread with scones, yogurt and granola, croissant sandwiches, and more. Each of the rooms comes with a designated parking space which was perfect because we drove to the Inn in our rental car. Another really cool perk is that Inn guests get complimentary access to the I’On Club, a private club with three swimming pools, tennis courts, and a fitness center. To wrap it up, we had the most amazing stay at the Inn from the beautiful room to the amazing hospitality! If you are planning a trip to Charleston, check out The Inn at I’On here and book your stay!
