It’s the little things that make life beautiful like a strong cup of coffee or your favorite wine! After a long week, I decided to take it easy this weekend and treat myself to a few of my favorite things! I stopped by my local grocer to grab a french baguette, a beautiful bouquet, and my favorite AVA Grace Vineyards wines. All the makings for the perfect weekend dinner!

Everything about each of AVA Grace’s unique bottles is inspired by nature from the blends to the beautiful art-work on the labels! I’m also very inspired by nature so I love that I can relate to this brand in that way. I tried their 2018 Rose and their 2017 Chardonnay, which are both great options for Spring.

Their Rose is lovely with notes of apricot, honeysuckle, and hints of wild roses! The subtle floral and fruit notes are perfect when paired with food. The Chardonnay has bright fruit flavors of white peach, apple, and lemon. It’s delicious! Both wines are from California and they are super affordable too.

It’s so important to treat ourselves every once in a while! I brought my goodies home and made a delicious tortellini pasta to go with the baguette and wine. If you are looking for some new wines to try I definitely recommend these AVA Grace varietals!
