I recently did a girl’s trip to Las Vegas with my sister and two of our friends. I’d never been to Vegas before so I got to check another U.S. city off my list! Woohoo! During our visit, we stayed at the new Tru by Hilton hotel. We had such a great experience at the hotel. I loved the vibrant and unique design of the hotel and it was super affordable; a must for any value-conscious traveler! My favorite part about our stay was the coffee station and the Tru Top It Breakfast bar, both of which were free. Who doesn’t love that?!

Tru Top It Breakfast

The Tru Top It Breakfast is a unique take on the traditional complimentary hotel breakfast with flavorful mix and match toppings and 10 bases; eggs, sausage, waffles, donuts, bagels, toast, English muffins, cereal, oatmeal, and yoghurt. Guests can pick from 35 toppings to “top off” their Kellogg’s cereal favorites like Raisin Bran, Fruit Loops, and Special K.

I made my own masterpiece that I like to call the “Trail Mix Yoghurt Bowl”. I started with a base of greek yoghurt then added Kellogg’s granola, dried cranberries and fruits, coconut flakes, brown sugar, and almond butter. I had a ton of fun creating my own healthy breakfast bowl. It was so good that I ended up having it every morning during my stay! I love that you can make your breakfast as healthy or indulgent as you want with the customizable options and toppings the breakfast bar has to offer. The Top It Breakfast totally helped fuel my busy travel days in Vegas!
