Vintage Inspired Valentine’s Day Photoshoot

I had a vision for some cute Valentine’s photos I wanted to capture with Andrew to remember our first Valentine’s Day together! On a recent trip to Goodwill, we thrifted this adorable red gingham fabric for Sage’s 1st birthday party which is coming up at the end of the month, along with several other camp-themed finds. It has a vintage feel to it that I thought would be so cute for a Valentine’s themed photoshoot! I made a paper heart garland with twine and a hole puncher to use as a prop, which turned out perfectly. We shot these during Sage’s 1st nap, but I couldn’t resist taking some Valentine’s photos of him when he woke up!

This Sezane blouse makes me think of those traditional, frilly Valentine’s day cards! It has a feminine, vintage feel to it which was the look I was going for. I styled it with a denim skirt and Andrew wore this vintage Gap denim jacket from the 90’s that my dad gave me. He wore a white blouse he thrifted from Zara underneath. Denim is so classic and timeless so it worked very well for this vintage inspired photoshoot!

Sage look so adorable in this vintage inspired outfit that I styled with all thrifted pieces! The corduroy pants are so sweet and the newsboy cap is just the cutest thing. This look totally compliments the DIY garland and gingham backdrop! I’m so glad I got some photos of him to remember his first Valentine’s day with, and ours as well.
XOXO
